The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The Patriots play home games at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is 22 miles (35 km) southwest of Boston. The franchise is owned by Robert Kraft, who purchased the team in 1994. After playing college football for Northern Arizona, Mirich was drafted by both the AFL and the NFL in 1963. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 16th round of the 1963 NFL Draft and by the Oakland Raiders in the 20th round of the 1963 AFL Draft. Joseph Barry Brown was an American former college and professional football player who was a linebacker and tight end in the National Football League (NFL) and American Football League (AFL) for five seasons during the 1960s and early 1970s. Brown played college football for the University of Florida, and was drafted in nineteenth round of the 1965 NFL Draft. He played professionally for the Baltimore Colts, New York Giants and Boston Patriots.
James Bluford Price was a professional American football linebacker in the American Football League (AFL) for the New York Jets and Denver Broncos. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 3rd round of the 1963 NFL Draft. He played college football at Auburn University.
