Career history

R.C. Gamble Jr. (born September 27, 1946) is a former American football running back in the American Football League (AFL) who played for the Boston Patriots. He played college football for the South Carolina State Bulldogs. [1] He also played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Edmonton Eskimos.[ citation needed ]

Daniel Ernest Henning, is a former American football player and coach. A quarterback, he played college football at the College of William & Mary and professional football in 1966 for the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League (AFL). Henning served as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons (1983–1986) and the Chargers (1989–1991). He was the head football coach at Boston College from 1994 to 1996. Henning then returned to the NFL as an offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills in 1997. After Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy retired, reportedly partially due to his reluctance to fire Henning, Henning left Buffalo.

Frank Joseph Filchock was an American gridiron football player and coach. As a consequence of a famous scandal regarding the 1946 NFL Championship Game, he was suspended by the National Football League (NFL) from 1947 to 1950 for associating with gamblers.

Theodore Thomas Alflen is a former American football player. A defensive back and halfback, he played college football at Springfield College, and played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) for the Denver Broncos in 1969 and in the Canadian Football League for the Montreal Alouettes in 1970. Alflen returned to the AFL to play with the New England Patriots in 1971, but suffered a knee injury returning a kickoff in the pre-season against the Minnesota Vikings. Nine weeks later he was released and retired due to numerous injuries.
