Art of Sleeping are an Australian rock band.

History

In 2012, the band released the singles "Empty Hands" and "Above the Water". [1]

In September 2012, the band signed with Dew Process [2] and released their debut EP Like a Thief on 12 October 2012. The EP peaked at number 95 on the ARIA charts.

The band released "Crazy" on 8 December 2014. [3] followed by "Voodoo" in May 2015. [4] [5]

The group recorded "around 50" songs for their debut album. In November 2015, Jarryd Shuker said "The five of us got together one night, we drank beer and we ate good food, and we refined that list. We argued and laughed, and we got to a point where we were all mutually happy." The finished product was Shake Shiver which was released in July 2015. [6]

Rogue Traders is an Australian electronic rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2002 by mainstay James Ash on keyboards. In 1989, Ash met fellow original member Steve Davis in London while both were working as DJs. Before forming Rogue Traders, the pair had worked together on many projects, including the dance music act Union State, which relocated to Melbourne in 1992. The group's name comes from the 1999 drama film, Rogue Trader. They were joined in 2004 by soap opera actress, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, on lead vocals, Cameron McGlinchey on drums and Tim Henwood on guitar. Scott Cain is an Australian singer and TV presenter. In 2002 he won the third Australian Popstars TV talent competition. His debut solo album, Controlled Folly, peaked in the ARIA Albums Chart top 50. Its lead single, "I'm Moving On", reached number one on the related ARIA Singles Chart. While competing on Popstars, the Final 7 contestants released a compilation single with each providing a cover version of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", which peaked at number seven. His wife, Danielle Stearman, was a fellow contestant on Popstars, the couple have two children together.
