Artur Sérgio Batista de Souza (born 5 August 1994), known simply as Artur, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a left-back for Mirassol.

Career

Internacional

Born in Abel Figueiredo, Pará, Artur began his career with Sport Club Internacional in Rio Grande do Sul. He had his first senior call-up on 16 October 2013, remaining an unused substitute in a goalless Campeonato Brasileiro Série A draw at Santos FC, [1] and made eight more appearances on the bench that season.

On 5 June 2015, he made his professional debut, starting in a 1–1 draw at Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras in the year's national championship; [2] he totalled 13 appearances that season, 9 as a starter.

Artur scored his first goal on 11 February 2016, to win a home match 2–1 against Esporte Clube Passo Fundo in that year's Campeonato Gaúcho. [3]

Ponte Preta

Artur made his league debut for Ponte Preta against São Paulo on 12 February 2017. [4]

Brasil de Pelotas

Artur made his league debut for Brasil de Pelotas against Veranópolis on 24 January 2018. [5]

Criciúma

Artur made his league debut for Criciúma against Goiás on 14 July 2018. [6]

Vorskla

Artur made his league debut for Vorskla against FC Mariupol on 19 August 2018. [7]

Keşla FK

On 16 August 2020, Artur signed a contract with Keşla FK until the end of the 2020–21 season. [8] He made his league debut for the club against Sumqayit on 21 August 2020. [9]

On 30 November 2020, Keşla announced the departure of Artur by mutual consent. [10]

Second spell at Brasil

During his second spell at the club, Artur made his league debut for the club against Caxias do Sul on 13 March 2021. [11]

Goiás

Artur made his league debut against Grêmio Anápolis on 26 January 2022. [12]

Second spell at Ponte Preta

Artur made his league debut against Grêmio on 9 April 2022. [13]
