Arundhati Holme Chowdhury, also spelt as Arundhati Holme (Hom) Choudhury, is a Bengali Indian exponent of Rabindra Sangeet and Bengali songs. She has worked as a playback singer mostly in Bengali-language films. [1] [2]

Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Jayita Pandey and Kavita Krishnamurthy are only non-bengali singers to win this award. Sabina Yasmin from Bangladesh is the one and only non-Indian singer to achieve this feat.

Anjan Choudhury was an Indian film director, writer, and screenplay writer who worked in the Bengali cinema of West Bengal. He was survived by his wife Jaysree Choudhury and two daughters, namely Chumki Chowdhury (elder) and Rina Choudhury, and son. His elder son in law is named Sajal. His son Sandip Choudhury was a T.V. serial and film director. His son Sandip had died on 03rd January 2023. His daughter in law Bidisha Choudhury is also a film actress.

Nimantran is a 1971 Bengali film directed by Tarun Majumdar, based on a story by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, and starring Sandhya Roy and Anup Kumar in the lead roles. At the 19th National Film Awards, it won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali.

West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards commonly referred as WBFJA Awards, is given by The West Bengal Film Journalists' Association. The association was founded in 2013 in Kolkata. The award show is called Cinemar Somaborton.
