As If is an American comedy-drama series that was put in place as a midseason replacement for Roswell and aired on Tuesdays on UPN after Buffy the Vampire Slayer . It was based on the successful UK series of the same name. The cast of the series included Emily Corrie, who portrayed Sooz in the original UK version of the show.

The United Paramount Network (UPN) was an American broadcast television network that launched on January 16, 1995. The network was originally owned by Chris-Craft Industries and United Television; Viacom turned the network into a joint venture in 1996 after acquiring a 50% stake in the network, and subsequently purchased Chris-Craft's remaining stake in 2000. In December 2005, UPN was spun off to CBS Corporation when Viacom split into two separate companies.

Synopsis

The series focused on six friends in Los Angeles, with full episodes shot entirely from one perspective. Each episode presented different modern topics that applied to many teens of the day.

The series had very low ratings from the beginning. Seven episodes were produced, but only two aired before the series was cancelled.
