Ashes & Dust was met with generally positive reviews from music critics. Thom Jurek of AllMusic said, "While Ashes & Dust doesn't really add anything "new" to Haynes' musical profile—fans already knew this was here—there are some fine benchmarks: his singing has never used such a range of dynamics before; for once he lets the song dictate his expression. Others are tight songwriting and arranging craft—especially when fleshed out by the almost limitless creativity of Railroad Earth. Ashes & Dust is a worthy and welcome addition to Haynes' catalog." [2] Jonathan Frahm of PopMatters said, "Someone most widely known by a wide margin for his work as a rocker, Haynes shows off his Americana side in just as seamlessly great a manner as he had any other performance in the past. In doing so, he simultaneously proves his prowess as a competent musician given any platform to toy with, and that labels in the first place might just be rather confounded." Hittin' the Note is the twelfth and final studio album by the American Southern rock group the Allman Brothers Band. Released through Sanctuary Records, it is their only studio album to include both slide guitar player Derek Trucks and bass player Oteil Burbridge and marks the full-time return of guitar player Warren Haynes to the band. It was also their only studio album not to include original guitarist Dickey Betts.

One Way Out is a live album by the Allman Brothers Band. It is the first live album to feature Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks together, although both had appeared separately on previous live albums. It was recorded during the group's annual Beacon Theatre run in New York City on March 25 and 26, 2003, and released a year later. This would be the final album released by the band before they disbanded in 2014.
"Learning How to Bend" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music singer Gary Allan. It was released in March 2008 as the second single from his 2007 album Living Hard. The song peaked at number 13 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Allan wrote the song with James LeBlanc and Matt Warren.

Silence in the Snow is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Trivium. It was released on October 2, 2015, through Roadrunner Records. It is the first and only album to feature third drummer Mat Madiro, who joined the band in May 2014 and before he had departed from the band in December 2015. It is the band's only album to date to not feature any harsh vocals. Michael "Elvis" Baskette was hired as the producer whom the band had met while recording In Waves album back in 2011.
The Color Before the Sun is the eighth studio album by progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. Following the conceptual double album, The Afterman: Ascension and Descension, released in 2012 and 2013 respectively, The Color Before the Sun is the first non-conceptual album the band has released, making it the only Coheed and Cambria album to not be a part of The Amory Wars storyline. The band released a live acoustic version of "Atlas" in August 2014, and announced a release date of October 9 in July of the following year, before announcing a push back to October 16, 2015. Miles at the Fillmore – Miles Davis 1970: The Bootleg Series Vol. 3 is a 4 CD live album compiling the four nights of Miles Davis's performances at the Fillmore East in New York City from June 17-20, 1970 and three additional tracks recorded at the Fillmore West two months earlier. The concert series was originally released in part as a double album Miles Davis at Fillmore but was given the first complete unedited release on this box set.
Fires Within Fires is the eleventh studio album by American post-metal band Neurosis. The album was released on September 23, 2016, via the band's own record label, Neurot Recordings. Recording began on December 27, 2015, at Electrical Audio Studio; the album was produced by Steve Albini and the cover art created by Thomas Hooper. Like Neurosis' previous albums, Fires Within Fires combines "elements from the post-metal genre they co-created [with] elements of industrial, doom, punk and folk". This is the band's final album with founding member Scott Kelly who was fired in 2019 due to domestic abuse allegations, which he officially confirmed to be true and announced his withdrawal from the public eye in August 2022.
ArtScience is a studio album by American musician Robert Glasper. It was released on September 16, 2016 via Blue Note Records. Recording sessions took place at the Parior Recording Studio in New Orleans. Production was handled by Casey Benjamin, Derrick Hodge, Mark Colenburg and Glasper himself. It features contributions from Jahi Sundance on turntables and Mike Severson on guitar. The album peaked at number 129 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart.
Not Dark Yet is a duet album between sisters and country/Americana singer-songwriters Shelby Lynne and Allison Moorer. Produced by British folk artist Teddy Thompson, Not Dark Yet was released on August 18, 2017. It is Moorer's ninth studio album, Lynne's fifteenth and marks the first official studio collaboration between the siblings. The title track is taken from the Bob Dylan song of the same name.
