Arvind Swamy is an Indian actor, director, model, entrepreneur and television presenter known for his work in Tamil cinema and a few Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam films. He was introduced as an actor by Mani Ratnam with the blockbuster film Thalapathi (1991) and subsequently starred in successful films such as Roja (1992), Bombay (1995), Minsara Kanavu (1997), Thani Oruvan (2015), and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018). The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, portraying a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai. Nenjam Marappathillai is a 2017 Tamil-language soap opera starring Sharanya Turadi and Amit Bhargav. Its main plot has been taken from the Bengali language love series Kusum Dola and with different story and screenplay by Rasool. It was aired from 9 October 2017 on Vijay TV and replaced the serial Mappillai. This serial is a love story about Saranya and Vikram whose lives got changed after certain incident. This TV series has ended on 22 February 2019 as Amit Bhargav left the serial. It has been replaced with the new serial Barathi Kannamma.
Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by Mani Ratnam, co-written with Siva Ananth. Produced by Mani Ratnam under the banner Madras Talkies, along with Lyca Productions, the film features an ensemble cast including Arvind Swami, Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Thiagarajan, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana Erappa, and Mansoor Ali Khan.
Kodaikanal is a 2008 Tamil language thriller film directed by T. K. Bose. The film stars newcomers Ashwanth Thilak, Poorna and Sekar, with Kandeepan, Vadivukkarasi, Senthil, Scissor Manohar, Alex, Bayilvan Ranganathan and Vijay Krishnaraj playing supporting roles. The film, produced by R. Swarnalakshmi, was released on 14 November 2008.
Run is a 2019–20 Tamil-language thriller drama series directed by K. Rajeev Prasad is a remake of Turkish Serial “Black Money love” on Sun TV. It stars Krishna and Sharanya Turadi. It premiered on 5 August 2019 and ended on 31 March 2020 for 197 episodes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ashwanth Ashokkumar is an Indian child actor who works in Tamil-language films. In 2016, he participated in the show Junior Super Star in Zee Tamil and won the title. He is known for his role as Rasukutty in Super Deluxe (2019).
