Asta (born Asta Evelyn Binnie-Ireland, 13 January 1996) is a singer-songwriter from Cygnet, Tasmania, Australia. [1]
She rose to prominence when her track "My Heart Is On Fire" won Triple J's Unearthed High in 2012. The track went on to be voted into position 50 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2012. She has gone on to release the singles "Escape" and "I Need Answers", as well as touring Australia nationally. [2]
In 2015, she released the song "Dynamite" featuring Australian rapper Allday, which reached number 66 on the ARIA Singles Chart. [3] She featured as the opening act for British musical act Ellie Goulding in 2015 and featured at music festivals such as The Plot in December 2015, Skullduggery (Adelaide) in February 2016 and Hyperfest (Perth) in February 2017.
In 2016 she released the single "Wild Emotion", and started an Australian Tour for the song starting on 18 March 2016 at Springfield, Queensland. Also in 2016, Asta toured as the opening act for Ellie Goulding again, on the Australian leg of her Delirium Tour. She brought her friend and collaborator Allday on stage during her sets as a surprise guest performer, where he rapped his featured parts of their joint song, "Dynamite".
In February 2017 she released her debut EP, Shine. In March 2017 she embarked on her national Shine Tour to promote the EP.[ citation needed ]
Her single 'Want You To Know' was released in 2019 to critical acclaim.[ citation needed ]
Her track released with Mark Maxwell "Santorini" was 'number 1' in the ARIA club Charts for 8 weeks, finishing the year as #2 in the Annual ARIA club charts [4]
In February 2023, after a 4 year release hiatus, Asta released her single "Ahhh". [5]

Elena Jane Goulding is an English singer and songwriter. Her career began when she met record producers Starsmith and Frankmusik, and she was later spotted by Jamie Lillywhite, who became her manager and A&R. After signing to Polydor Records in July 2009, Goulding released her debut extended play, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, later that year.

San Cisco is an Australian indie pop band that formed in 2009 under the original name of King George, in Fremantle, Western Australia. The band are a three-piece, and currently consists of Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens. Davieson and Biondillo share duties on keyboards. In November 2011, the band was signed by Albert Productions, but moved to Island Records for the release of its debut album. In October 2012, the band described its 'vibe' as "squelchy, crispy, streamlined, hairy, indie". At the ARIA Music Awards of 2013 the group were nominated for Best Independent Release and Best Dance Release for the album; and Best Video for "Fred Astaire", which was directed by Andrew Nowrojee.
"I Need Your Love" is a song by Scottish producer and DJ Calvin Harris from his third studio album, 18 Months (2012). The song features vocals from English singer Ellie Goulding and was released on 2 April 2013 as the album's seventh single. "I Need Your Love" is also included as a bonus track on Goulding's second studio album, Halcyon (2012). The accompanying music video, directed by Emil Nava, depicts Harris and Goulding as a romantic couple on a trip to Miami.

Tomas Henry Gaynor, known professionally as Allday, is an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter from Adelaide. Gaynor became active in 2011, when he began uploading his music for free online. Following his works becoming increasingly popular, he moved to Melbourne, to pursue a serious career before later relocating to Los Angeles in February 2017. His works have been influenced by acts such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean, and TLC. Gaynor released his debut album, Startup Cult, in July 2014 to Australian audiences. Startup Cult achieved success and reached number three on the ARIA Charts.
Reclassified is the reissue of Australian rapper Iggy Azalea's debut studio album, The New Classic (2014). It was released internationally on 21 November 2014 by Virgin EMI Records, and in the United States on 24 November 2014 by Def Jam Recordings. Released seven months after its parent album, Reclassified featured five newly recorded songs.

She is the featured vocalist on "High" by Australian duo, Peking Duk, which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified triple platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Gabriel Strum, known professionally as Japanese Wallpaper, is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter and producer. He released his debut single "Breathe In" featuring Wafia on 10 October 2013. The song featured in Zach Braff's film Wish I Was Here. Strum has had three songs feature in the Triple J Hottest 100: "Between Friends" featuring Jesse Davidson at No. 97 (2014), "Forces" featuring Airling at No. 69 (2015) and "In Motion" featuring Allday at No. 44 (2017). He released his debut album Glow on 18 October 2019.
