Astrid Tveit (born 26 June 1957) is a retired Norwegian high jumper. She represented Lillehammer IF and IL i BUL.
She finished tenth at the 1975 European Indoor Championships, fifteenth at the 1978 European Indoor Championships and tenth at the 1978 European Championships. She also competed at the European Championships in 1974 and 1982 as well as the 1976 Summer Olympics without reaching the finals. [1] She became Norwegian champion in the years 1974-1979 and 1981. [2]
Her personal best jump was 1.90 metres, achieved in June 1982 in Prague. This places her third among Norwegian high jumpers, only behind Hanne Haugland and Anne Gerd Eieland. [3]
Ulrike Nasse-Meyfarth is a German former high jumper. She won the Olympic title twice, in 1972 and 1984. She is the youngest Olympic champion ever in women's high jump, and at the time of her 1984 triumph, she also was the oldest ever.

She is the Croatian record holder in the event, and the former indoor world champion.

During his 16-year career, he won 19 national championships. In 1984, Stones became the first athlete to both compete and serve as an announcer at the same Olympics. Since then, he has been a color analyst for all three major networks in the United States and continues to cover track and field on television. He served as an analyst for NBC Sports coverage of Track and Field at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

She was the gold medalist at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics and was originally awarded a bronze medal in the event at the 2008 Summer Olympics, which was later stripped for doping. She was also runner-up at the World Championships in 2007 and 2013, as well as the bronze medalist in 2015.

Her personal best of 1.95 metres set on 26 June 1982, at a meet in Oslo, Norway, stood as the UK national record until 2014. She competed at two Olympic Games, reaching the final on both occasions. In Los Angeles 1984, she finished in 9th place, while in Seoul 1988, she finished 8th (1.90m).

With her victory in Tokyo, Lasitskene became the fourth female high jumper in history to win gold at both the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
