Astro Launch is one of many 7-inch EPs Man or Astro-man? released in 1994. [1] It was released on Estrus Records on clear orange vinyl and black vinyl. [2] As the black vinyl copies are pressed onto translucent black vinyl, some discographies list the vinyl color as "rootbeer" or "clear rootbeer". There are also some copies pressed on opaque gray vinyl, and at least one copy on dark, ruby-red vinyl. "Transmission from Venus '94" is a re-recording of a song Man or Astro-man? recorded in 1993 and released on a Roger Corman tribute compilation. The back cover states that a secret vocal version of "Philip K. Dick" on cassette can be obtained from Man or Astro-man? for $1. The cover art was designed by Art Chantry. [1]
Lower Class Brats are a street punk band founded in Austin, Texas in January 1995. Based out of Southern California since 2017.
Picture discs are gramophone (phonograph) records that show images on their playing surface, rather than being of plain black or colored vinyl. Collectors traditionally reserve the term picture disc for records with graphics that extend at least partly into the actual playable grooved area, distinguishing them from picture label discs, which have a specially illustrated and sometimes very large label, and picture back discs, which are illustrated on one unplayable side only.

Moody Blue is the twenty-fourth and final studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released on July 19, 1977 by RCA Records, four weeks before his death. The album was a mixture of live and studio work, and included the four tracks from Presley's final studio recording sessions in October 1976 and two tracks left over from the previous Graceland session in February 1976. "Moody Blue" was a previously published hit song recorded at the earlier Graceland session and held over for this album. Also recorded at the February session was "She Thinks I Still Care". "Way Down" became a hit after Presley's death less than one month after this album's release. The album was certified Gold and Platinum on September 12, 1977, and 2× Platinum on March 27, 1992, by the RIAA.
Man or Astro-man? is an American surf rock group that formed in Auburn, Alabama in the early 1990s and came to prominence over the following decade.
"Let's Shake Hands" is the debut 7" single of Detroit-based American garage rock band The White Stripes. It was released in March 1998, and marks their first recording. A live recording of the song is featured on Under Blackpool Lights as well as Under Great White Northern Lights.
Is It ... Man Or Astroman? was the first album released by the surf rock group Man or Astro-man?. First pressing was on clear blue vinyl; all subsequent pressings were on black vinyl. In deference to "vinyl junkies", the vinyl release sports two additional tracks. "Illudium Q-36" references the Chuck Jones character, Marvin the Martian. The title refers to the weapon of choice of the hostile Looney Tunes alien. The cover art was painted by American science fiction and fantasy illustrator Richard Powers
Amazing Thrills! in 3-Dimension is a Man or Astro-man? promo 7" that was given away with the first 1,000 copies of their debut album, Is It ... Man or Astroman?. It was released on Estrus Records in 1993 on black vinyl only. By some counts, 1,000 copies is a generous estimate, as the Estrus website places the actual number pressed as only 400. This is the first time Man or Astro-man's cover of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 theme song was released. It was later re-released on Destroy All Astromen!.
Supersonic Toothbrush Helmet is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Lance Rock Records in 1993. The first pressing was available on clear red vinyl and on black vinyl. The left inside of the record jacket features a black-and-white photo of an Astro Burger restaurant. Later pressings were only pressed on black vinyl and the inside of the picture sleeve was left blank.
Captain Holojoy's Space Diner is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Lucky Records in 1993. It was released on opaque pink vinyl and black vinyl. It came with two inserts: a postcard showing the Astromen eating in a diner, and a larger card stock insert with a photo of a band member on one side and fictitious song lyrics on the other.
Mission into Chaos! is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on One Louder Records in 1993 and pressed exclusively on black vinyl. The back cover states that the songs are meant to be a soundtrack to the film of the same title which has been lost.
The Brains of the Cosmos is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Demolition Derby Records in 1994 and pressed exclusively on black vinyl only. The cover claims this is the "first ever disc entirely recorded in outer space".
Inside the Head of... Mr. Atom is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Estrus Records in 1995. It was recorded by Steve Albini. The cover art and design is by Art Chantry. The back cover states "This single is dedicated to the vital memory of the band Bolt Thrower." It was released on clear green vinyl, opaque purple vinyl, opaque gray vinyl and black vinyl. Early pressings of the 7" have red and yellow center labels. The center labels on later pressings are black and silver, and these were available on black vinyl and gray vinyl.
Vein is the thirteenth album by Japanese experimental band Boris. The album was released on vinyl in October 2006 through Important Records and was limited to 1500 copies only. Vein became somewhat controversial for the long delays prior to the release but most importantly for presenting two different albums under the album's title. As the label in charge of the release explained, "Every aspect of this beautiful release was planned and designed by Boris and they have stated that it has very special meaning for them".
Your Weight on the Moon is a 10" EP/CDEP by Man or Astro-man? released in 1994. The 10" vinyl was pressed on four different colors of vinyl: black, opaque pink, opaque silvery-gray and glow-in-the-dark. The Man or Astro-man official discography points out that one should know one's mass rather than one's weight.
Project Infinity is the second full-length studio album by Man or Astro-man?. The cover is a reworking of Attilio Mineo's Man in Space with Sounds, which was used as the soundtrack to the futuristic "Bubbleator" exhibit at the 1962 Century 21 Exposition.
Man or Astro-man? in Orbit is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Shake It Records in 1995. It was released on clear vinyl and black vinyl. On the record sleeve the band members are listed as "Mission Astronauts" rather than musicians since the title implies that the band will be in orbit.
The Sounds of Tomorrow is a Man or Astro-man? 7" EP released on Estrus Records in 1996. It was released on both black vinyl and gray vinyl.
Hi, How Are You: The Unfinished Album is the sixth self-released music cassette album by singer-songwriter Daniel Johnston, recorded in September 1983. The subtitle refers to the length of the album; Johnston had intended for it to be an hour long release, as a majority of his earlier releases were.
Live Transmissions From Uranus!! is a full-length album released by the surf rock group Man or Astro-man?. It was recorded live at the Covered Dish in Gainesville, Florida on November 19, 1994. It was available on CD and on standard, black vinyl through Homo Habilis records. It was also released on CD and as a limited 12" picture disc through One Louder records in the UK. It was later reissued through the Chicago-based label Touch and Go Records. Design by Art Chantry, and cover photos by Kyle Scott.
