August "Gustl" Auinger (born 3 May 1955 in Lambach) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from Austria. His best year was in 1985 when he finished in third place in the 125cc world championship, winning three Grand Prix races in the process. Auinger won a total of five Grand Prix races during his career. [1]

Luis Jaime Salom Horrach was a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Salom died after a practice accident at Circuit de Catalunya, when making contact with his bike and the wall after a high-speed accident. Racing in the Moto2 class since 2014, he finished 41 races, with 3 podium appearances, including a second-place finish at the 2016 Qatar season opener. At the time of his death, Salom ranked 10th in the 2016 Moto2 Championship point standings. Previously he had competed in Moto3, accumulating nine race victories, finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 2012 and 2013 championships, respectively.
Johann Zarco is a French Grand Prix motorcycle racer, best known for winning the 2015 and 2016 Moto2 World Championships with his 2015 triumph being a record points total for the intermediate class. He is a MotoGP race winner, and currently rides for LCR Honda Castrol in MotoGP.
Brad Binder is a South African Grand Prix motorcycle racer. He is most-known for winning the 2016 Moto3 World Championship. The races, for the fourth year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, were held at seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar. The championship was won by Japanese rider Ayumu Sasaki at the last race.
Jorge Martín Almoguera, nicknamed the Martinator, is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer riding for Prima Pramac Racing. In 2021 Martín moved up to the premier class with Pramac Racing, and won the 2021 Styrian motorcycle Grand Prix, as well as securing three pole positions in his first seven entries, four total in his rookie campaign. He is best known for winning the 2018 Moto3 World Championship with Gresini Racing, and was also the 2014 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup champion.

Spanish rider Carlos Tatay won the championship, securing the title after the Misano race.

Pedro Acosta Sánchez is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in Moto2 for the Red Bull KTM Ajo team. He is best known for winning the 2021 Moto3 World Championship in his first year, becoming the first rookie champion since Loris Capirossi in 1990, and the second youngest ever champion, just one day older than Capirossi was at the time of winning. In 2023 Acosta won the Moto2 world championship with 2 races to go. Acosta is also a champion of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, having won the title in 2020.
The 2022 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 74th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Izan Guevara won the championship for GasGas Aspar Team after the Australian Grand Prix.
