It was written by Mark Tabak, Deema, Gena Wernik, Mark Joker, O.K.A.N., and band member Akay Kayed for the group's second studio album 2. OG (2004), while production was helmed by Tabak and Wernik. Released as the album's lead single on July 5, 2004, the ballad reached number ten on the German Singles Chart and made it to the top forty in Austria.

Bro'Sis was a multicultural R&B/pop group from Germany, which was formed through the TV series Popstars – Du bist mein Traum in 2001. The group comprised the singers Ross Antony, Hila Bronstein, Shaham Joyce, Faiz Mangat, Indira Weis, and Giovanni Zarrella. The sextet achieved major success with hit singles "I Believe", "Do You", "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel", "Hot Temptation", and their first album Never Forget (2002).
Christina Stürmer is an Austrian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Linz, she rose to fame as the runner-up of the inaugural season of the ORF eins television talent series Starmania. Following her participation, she signed with Universal Music and released her debut single "Ich lebe" which spent nine weeks atop the Austrian Singles Chart. It was followed by the release of her first two albums, Freier Fall (2003) and Soll das wirklich alles sein (2004), both of which debuted atop the Austrian Albums Chart and produced eight top ten hits, including the number-one singles "Mama " and "Vorbei".
"Perfekte Welle" is a song by German band Juli. It was written by band members Simon Triebel and Andreas Herde and produced by O.L.A.F. Opal for their debut album Es ist Juli (2004). It served as band's debut single and peaked at number two on the German and Austrian Single Charts. In December 2004, after the tsunami in south-east Asia, many German television and radio stations announced that they would no longer play the song as a mark of respect to the tsunami victims. An Afrikaans version was released in South Africa by the group Shine4, called "Perfekte Wêreld".

Rosenstolz was a German pop duo from Berlin that was active between 1991 and 2012 and had chart hits in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The duo consisted of singer AnNa R. and musician Peter Plate, who occasionally provided vocals. Rosenstolz achieved major chart success after the nineties, with five studio albums going to No. 1 in the German albums chart. Released on 25 August 2017, by RAF Camoras own label Indipendenza, the album debuted at number one on the German, Swiss and Austrian album charts. Anthrazit is certified Gold by IFPI Austria and Platinum by Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI). The album produced six singles, including "Kontrollieren", "In meiner Wolke", "Alles probiert", "Bye, Bye", "Andere Liga" and "Primo". All of the singles reached the charts in German-speaking Europe, which exception of "Bye, Bye", which didn't enter the Swiss charts.
Palmen aus Plastik 2 is the second collaborative studio album by German rapper Bonez MC and Austrian rapper RAF Camora, released on 5 October 2018 through Vertigo Berlin and Capitol. It was also made available as a limited edition box set on the same date. Prior to the album, the rappers collaborated on Palmen aus Plastik (2016). Palmen aus Plastik 2 debuted at number one on the German, Swiss and Austrian album charts. The album was certified Gold by Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) and IFPI Austria. As of November 2018, the record was certified for 107,500 album-equivalent units in German-speaking Europe.
