Austin Harlan Leeds (born May 3, 1978) is an American DJ, recording artist, remixer, record producer and songwriter. Leeds has had a number of entries on the Billboard 200 and his work was mentioned in publications such as Rolling Stone [5] [6] and Billboard . [7] [8]

Career

Originally a guitar player, Leeds turned to DJing in 1997 and rapidly became known for his technical accuracy and black-belt programming. [9] Leeds' work has attracted the attention of numerous major DJs and producers across the globe. Releases with labels such as Bedrock, Zone UK, Bliss, Spinnin, Ultra, Sony, Warner plus inclusion on various compilations amplified his stature. Austin's studio collaborations comprise well known artists and DJs including Paul Van Dyk, [10] Avicii, [11] Nadia Ali, [12]  Alex M.O.R.P.H., Starkillers (aka Nick Terranova), Jimmy Van M, [13] Andy Moor, [14] Benny Benassi, [15] Cass & Slide, [16] Mara, [17] Deep Funk Project, [18] Innate, [19] Nu-breed [20] and Origin. [21] Leeds' professional and stylish creations are regularly included on major DJ releases by the likes of Deep Dish and Sasha & John Digweed. [22]

Sasha & John Digweed are a British DJ duo comprising Sasha and John Digweed. Digweed had been DJing for ten years before getting a gig at Renaissance where he met Sasha, who had been working the past few years in various acid house music clubs and raves. Together, they honed their DJ skills, focusing on track selection and technical mixing abilities. In 1994, they released the triple CD mix album Renaissance: The Mix Collection on Renaissance Records. It contained many popular dance hits of the time from artists such as Leftfield, Fluke, and 2 Bad Mice as well as original productions and remixes from themselves. Two years later, the duo became "true superstars" (AllMusic) with the release of their double CD Northern Exposure on mega-label Ministry of Sound. This release was brought to the United States the next year in a single CD package on Ultra Records. 1997 saw the release of the Northern Exposure 2 double CD mix album, again on Ministry of Sound. Sasha and Digweed toured internationally, helping define the sound of progressive house & trance music in the late 1990s. In Between is the fifth studio album by Paul van Dyk released on August 14, 2007. The album features a wide range of collaborations including David Byrne of Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin of Luminary, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Lo-Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey of Reamonn, Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson.
