Vanier College is an English-language public college located in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1970 as the second English-language public college of Quebec's public college system, after Dawson College. Vanier is located just north of CEGEP Saint-Laurent, a French-language public college. Today, the student population numbers over 6,700 full-time Diploma students with an additional 2,000 students attending through the Continuing Education Department. Vanier College is one of 48 public Cegeps in the province.

The new building was a Junior High School with grades 7 to 10. The original building on site was formerly known as Sacred Heart Convent and it housed 11, 12, 13 for a number of years but dropped grades 7, 8 when enrolment in grades 9 & 10 increased. CCH is administered by the London District Catholic School Board.
Elmer Roland "Rollie" Miles was a professional football player for the Canadian Football League Edmonton Eskimos. Miles played offence, defence, and special teams, during his eleven-year career with the Eskimos. Miles is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, and the Edmonton Eskimos Wall of Honour. In November 2006, Miles was voted one of the CFL's Top 50 players (#48) of the league's modern era by Canadian sports network TSN.
Richard Kent Austin is an American gridiron football coach and former player, who is currently the quarterbacks coach under head coach Hugh Freeze at Auburn. Austin served as the head football coach at Cornell University from 2010 to 2012. He was the head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2007 and CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 2013 to 2017 and the co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia from 2019 to 2022.

Originally part of the Town of Jasper Place school system, St. Francis Xavier transferred to the Edmonton system when Jasper Place amalgamated with Edmonton in 1964.
St. Oscar Romero Catholic High School is in the Callingwood North neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is operated by Edmonton's Catholic School System. It is the Edmonton Catholic System's newest high school and is located next to the Jamie Platz YMCA, Callingwood Twin Arenas, and Edmonton Public Library's Lois Hole library. The school is the first fully Wi-Fi high school in Edmonton.
Jeremiah Taeatafa Masoli is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at the City College of San Francisco, University of Oregon, and the University of Mississippi. Masoli has also been a member of the Omaha Nighthawks (UFL), the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL) and the Edmonton Eskimos (CFL).

As a professional quarterback, he was a member of the Columbus Lions, Ottawa Redblacks, Edmonton Eskimos, and BC Lions. He played college football for the University of Maryland, University of Wisconsin and Catawba College.
Willie Hebert Jefferson III is an American professional football defensive end for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Jefferson is a three-time Grey Cup champion, winning with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015 and twice more with the Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2019 with the Bombers, and is a five-time CFL All-Star and six-time CFL West All-Star. He has also been a member of the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Jefferson played college football for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and the Baylor Bears.
Leigh McMillan was a Canadian football player who played for the Edmonton Eskimos. He won the Grey Cup with the Eskimos in 1955 and 1956. He played junior football for the Edmonton Wildcats. He is a member of the Edmonton Sports Hall of Fame.
Dexter Janke is the head coach for the York Lions of U Sports football. He played professionally as a defensive back for four years in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Calgary Stampeders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the latter of which he won a Grey Cup title with in 2019. He has also served as head coach for the Westshore Rebels of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).
The Ukrainian Bilingual Program (UBP) is part of some Albertan school board's education. The program was introduced in Edmonton in both the secular and Catholic systems After initially being in Edmonton it then expanded to Vegreville in 1978, Sherwood Park] in 1979 and Lamont 1980. Ukrainian as a second language has been taught as 9-year, 6-year and 3-year long programm in rural Alberta. There was also a locally developed program from grade 1 in the County of Two Hills.
