Auto Driver is a 2015 documentary film directed by Meena Longjam. It tells the story of Laibi Oinam [1] who took to driving a second-hand auto rickshaw in 2011, in a non-traditional profession for women in the Imphal city of Manipur, in order to support her ailing husband and sons' education. Produced over three years, it won the best social issue film in the non-feature category at the 63rd National Film Awards in 2015 and Best Short Documentary in the Audience Choice category at the 2017 Women's Voices Now Film Festival. It organizes online short film festivals and other activities in its mission to "amplif[y] the voices of all women by promoting the free expression of women's struggles for civil, economic, political, and gender rights worldwide". In addition to its festivals, WVN expanded to include an archive of films, a publication, educational programs, screenings, workshops and training, as well as providing scholarships. It had its regular theatrical screenings at Usha Cinema, Paona Bazar in July 2018.

Loktak Lairembee, also known as Lady of the Lake, is a 2016 Indian Meitei language film directed and produced by Haobam Paban Kumar. It stars Ningthoujam Sanatomba and Sagolsem Thambalsang in the lead roles. The film had participated in many international film festivals across the globe and won several awards. The film won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment / Conservation / Preservation at the 64th National Film Awards.

Ichadi Manini is a 2019 Indian Meitei language film directed by Geet Yumnam and produced by Ningthoujam Malakumari. It stars Amar Mayanglambam and Bala Hijam in the lead roles. The movie won the Special Jury and Best Actor in a Leading Role - Male Awards at the 13th Manipur State Film Awards 2020. The film was released at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT), Palace Compound, Imphal on 28 July 2019.

Oinam Gautam Singh is an Indian film director and editor who works in Manipuri films. He started his career in Manipuri cinema as an editor and later took up direction since more than a decade. One of the successful filmmakers in Manipuri Cinema, he is the recipient of many awards, including a National Film Award for his 2011 movie Phijigee Mani. Larei Lathup is a 2021 Indian Meitei language film written and directed by Ojitbabu Ningthoujam. It stars Shilheiba Ningthoujam and Ithoi Oinam in the lead roles. The film was premiered at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) on 13 November 2021. It was the opening film (fiction) at the Festival of Cinemas of Manipur 2022, a 15-day long multi-lingual film festival organised by MSFDS in April 2022.
