Avelino Palma (born 28 February 1948) is a Brazilian sports shooter. He competed in the mixed trap event at the 1984 Summer Olympics. [1] [2]

Fernando de Queiroz Scherer is a Brazilian former international swimmer. He won the bronze medal in the 50-meter freestyle at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and another bronze medal four years later in Sydney with the Brazilian relay team in the 4×100-meter freestyle.

In 2019, he won the 50 km race at the Pan American Race Walking Cup. In 2019, he competed in the men's 50 kilometres walk at the 2019 World Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar. He did not finish his race.
