Avenger (stylized as AVENGER) is an anime series,produced by Bandai Visual and Bee Train,and directed by Koichi Mashimo. It is set on post-apocalyptic colonized Mars. The 13-episode series premiered across Japan between 1 October 2003 and 24 December 2003 on the TV Tokyo network. It was later licensed for North American distribution by Bandai's distributive unit across the region,Bandai Entertainment.
The story is set on a colonized Mars at some unspecified point in the future. Following the destruction of Earth,the majority of the human population is divided up into a number of small domed city-states. Those who live outside the domes in the harsh wildernesses of the planet are known as Barbaroi. Resources are scarce,and supplies are divided out between cities based on the outcome of gladiatorial battles between representative fighters from each city. Adding to the problems of the colonists,no children have been born on Mars for a decade. The cause of the infertility is unknown,but people have turned to child-size robots called dolls as a substitute for the presence of children in their lives. And a red moon,Earth's moon,hangs over Mars,drawn towards the red planet after the destruction of Earth and ravaging it with lunar storms caused by gravitational fluctuations between Mars and its unwelcome satellite.
The protagonist of the story is Layla Ashley,a barbaroi gladiator from Serena City with a mysterious and tragic past and follows her quest to defeat Volk,the ruler of Mars. She is accompanied on her journey by Nei,a strange "doll" whom she shares a deep emotional connection with,and Speedy,a doll breeder (or repairman) from the same city she's from.

The music for Avenger was composed and performed by Japanese duo Ali Project, which has also contributed music to several, other anime series, including CLAMP School Detectives , Noir , Princess Resurrection and .hack//Roots . The series opening Lunar Eclipse Grand Guignol (月蝕グランギニョル Gesshoku Guran Ginyoru) and ending (Mirai no Eve) themes and the score overall are considered by some fans and reviewers to be among the show's most memorable elements. An Original Soundtrack album was released in Japan in 2003.

The Amazing 3, or Wonder 3, is a Japanese comic series and a black-and-white Japanese animated television series created by Osamu Tezuka in the 1960s. It involves the adventures of three agents from outer space who are sent to Earth to determine whether the planet, a potential threat to the universe, should be destroyed. Black Heaven, also referred to as The Legend of Black Heaven and Kacho-Ōji, is a Japanese anime television series conceptualized by Hiroki Hayashi and produced by Pioneer Corporation, Pioneer LDC Inc., AIC and A.P.P.P. It is directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi, with Naruhisa Arakawa handling series composition, Kazuto Nakazawa designing the characters and Kōichi Korenaga composing the music. Sola is a Japanese work originally conceived by Naoki Hisaya with original character design by Naru Nanao. It was first unveiled through the prologue of the manga featured in the Japanese manga magazine Dengeki Daioh on December 21, 2006, published by MediaWorks. The manga, which is illustrated by Chako Abeno, ended serialization on February 21, 2008. The manga has been licensed for distribution in North America by Broccoli Books with the first volume being released in June 2008. A short drama CD which also served as a prologue to the series was released at Comiket 71 in December 2006, and a second drama CD was released in May 2008. An anime version aired in Japan between April and June 2007; the anime contained thirteen episodes, and two additional DVD-exclusive episodes followed. The anime was licensed by Bandai Entertainment for distribution in North America in a subtitle-only box set of all fifteen episodes. The title, Sola, is close in pronunciation to the Japanese word sora. At the end of 2007, Japanese anime fans voted Sola as the best anime of the year.
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet is a Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G and directed by Kazuya Murata, and aired between April and June 2013. A manga adaptation began serialization in Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine in January 2013.
Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers is a Japanese superhero anime television series produced by Toei Animation and The Walt Disney Company Japan, and is based on the Marvel Comics universe. The series began airing in Japan from April 2, 2014, on TX Network stations. The series was aimed at boys 6–12 and tied in with merchandising produced by Bandai.

Violet Evergarden is a Japanese light novel series written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase. It was published by Kyoto Animation under their KA Esuma Bunko imprint, from December 2015 to March 2020. The story follows Violet Evergarden, a young ex-soldier who becomes an Auto Memory Doll tasked with writing letters that can connect people.
Takt Op is a mixed-media project about classical music produced by Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA. An anime television series by MAPPA and Madhouse titled Takt Op. Destiny aired from October to December 2021. A mobile game developed by Game Studio titled Takt Op. Symphony was released in June 2023.
Super Crooks is a Japanese-American original net anime series based on the 2012 comic book series of the same name by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu. The series was written by Dai Satō and Tsukasa Kondo, and premiered on Netflix on November 25, 2021. Following small-time crook Johnny Bolt as he recruits a team of eight super-villains to perform a super-powered heist, the first nine episodes serve as a prequel to the comic book series, with the last three episodes adapting the comic outright. The series serves as a spin-off to Jupiter's Legacy (2021). In June 2021, a live-action Super Crooks series and second spin-off from the simultaneously-cancelled Jupiter's Legacy was announced to be in active development.
