Avery Stafford is an American gospel and R&B singer.
Stafford was born in Los Angeles in 1965, and grew up in Madera, California. He began singing gospel music in church during his youth. In 1987, Stafford recorded the album So Good Inside (with his singing group The Enlighteners) in Fresno, California. Two years later, Stafford moved to Abilene, Texas, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Ministry from Abilene Christian University. In 1992, Stafford moved to Port Orchard, Washington, where he served as Youth Minister for the Port Orchard Church of Christ. There he wrote several songs that would later be recorded on his second and third albums, Lift Up Your Voice (1995) and Come Bless Da Lord (1996).
In 1995, Stafford moved to Portland, Oregon, where he enrolled in Multnomah University. There he recorded his second and third albums before completing a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies in 1998. He created a vocal praise team called One A'Chord, featuring several voices of Portland area college students. That same year, he accepted the worship pastor position at El Camino Christian Church in Sunnyvale, California. While there, he recorded his fourth album Bridges.
During his tenure at Valley Church in Cupertino, California, [1] Stafford recorded the album that began to give him recognition. Undignified was recorded in 2004 and released in 2005. Produced in the studio owned by Michael Toy, Stafford was able to utilize Bay Area musicians who assisted in creating an award-winning Independent release. Artists included Mark Kenoly, [2] Tim Abbott, Tony Bolivar, Patrick Collins (also co-producer), and several others. Undignified earned Stafford two nominations from the 16th Annual Los Angeles International Awards for Christian Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as praise for his rendition of "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)". [3] "Eyes of a Child" earned Stafford the March 2007 Winner Award for Best Song in the Song of the Year International Songwriting Competition.
In 2003 and 2006, Stafford was a featured performer at a Bay Area All Faiths Gospel Music Festival, [4] [5] and was a featured performer in a 2008 benefit concert for Castro Valley High School. [6] In late 2008, he was also chosen by the Pure Gospo Awards Show as Best Solo Artist. [7]
Stafford released End of Five in 2008, an album produced by Eddie M and featuring Jon Gibson. [8] [9] His albums are now distributed by Bookworld Music. [10] After serving as Pastor of Worship Ministries for Trinity Church of Sunnyvale in the San Francisco Bay Area (where he began in 2006), he has been the staff elder at Common Ground Church in Beaverton, Oregon, since February 1, 2015. Third Day was a Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s. The band was founded by lead singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee and Billy Wilkins. Drummer David Carr was the last band member to quit, prior to the band’s farewell tour in May and June 2018. The band's name is a reference to the biblical accounts of the resurrection of Jesus on the third day following his crucifixion. The band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009. They have sold over 7 million albums in the United States and had 28 number one Christian album chart radio hits. Their fans are known as "Gomers" after a song on their second album about Gomer.
Jeannie C. Riley is an American country music and gospel singer. She is best known for her 1968 country and pop hit "Harper Valley PTA", which missed by one week simultaneously becoming the Billboard Country and Pop number-one hit.
Joshua Otis Turner is an American country and gospel singer and songwriter. In 2003, he signed to MCA Nashville Records. That same year, his debut album's title track, "Long Black Train", was his breakthrough single release. His second album, Your Man (2006) accounted for his first two number-one hits: "Your Man" and "Would You Go with Me", while 2007's Everything Is Fine included a No. 2 in "Firecracker". Haywire, released in 2010, produced his biggest hit, the four week No. 1 "Why Don't We Just Dance" and another number one in "All Over Me". It was followed by Punching Bag (2012), whose lead-off single "Time Is Love" was the biggest country hit of 2012 according to Billboard Year-End.

Stevens Creek is a 20.9-mile-long (33.6 km) stream in Santa Clara County, California. The creek originates in the Santa Cruz Mountains on the western flank of Black Mountain in the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve near the terminus of Page Mill Road at Skyline Boulevard. It flows southeasterly through the Stevens Creek County Park before turning northeast into Stevens Creek Reservoir. It then continues north for 12.5 miles (20.1 km) through Cupertino, Los Altos, Sunnyvale and Mountain View before emptying into the San Francisco Bay at the Whisman Slough, near Google's main campus.

Vallco Shopping Mall was a now demolished dead mall located in Cupertino, California, United States. Originally built as a single-story shopping mall in 1976 with a lower level added in 1988 and a third-level movie theater added in 2007, it was anchored for most of its existence by Macy's, Sears, and J.C. Penney. As of August 2022, the mall was owned by Sand Hill Property Company and was almost entirely vacant, with Cupertino Ice Center, Bowlmor Lanes, Benihana, and Fremont Union High School (FUHSD) Adult & Community Education as the only remaining tenants, all in the section to the east of Wolfe Road. The larger western portion of the main mall structure was demolished in August 2019 and the pedestrian overpass was demolished in March 2020. The rest has been demolished since then. Plans for the site include a mixed-use development consisting of office space, housing, and retail.
The Permanente Quarry is a limestone quarry in an unincorporated area of Santa Clara County, California, just west of Cupertino, California. The quarry is a limestone and aggregate mining operation and cement plant, owned by Lehigh Southwest Cement, a subsidiary of Heidelberg Cement. Since 1939 the plant has been in operation and is responsible for the production of more than half of the cement used in the Bay Area. Roughly 70 percent of the cement used in the communities of Santa Clara County is acquired from the cement plant.
Evan Low is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly. He is a Democrat representing the 26th Assembly District, which encompasses parts of the Northern CA South Bay and Silicon Valley, including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara and portions of northern and western San Jose. He is a member of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus, and currently serves as Chair of the California Asian American & Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus.
Sunnyvale Town Center was a two-level shopping mall located in Sunnyvale, California, USA. It opened in 1979 on the site of much of the city's downtown, and was anchored by Macy's, Montgomery Ward, and later, J.C. Penney. Target moved in when Montgomery Ward closed. By the early 2000s, the mall had failed financially and only the Target and Macy's stores remained open. Work on a mixed-use development to replace the mall was stalled by a legal dispute from 2009 to 2015, with most buildings incomplete, but resumed after the city reached an agreement with new developers in mid-2016. By the end of 2020, a multi-screen movie theater and a supermarket had been built and opened in addition to most of the residential buildings; as of January 2021, replacement plans were going forward for a group of lots including the site of Macy's, which closed in 2019. Much of the area has now been rebranded as CityLine Sunnyvale.
The University of Silicon Valley (USV) is a private university in San Jose, California, in Silicon Valley. Founded in 1887 as Cogswell Technical School, and later known as Cogswell Polytechnical College. It was the first technical training institution in the West and one of only two private universities, along with Stanford University, that were originally guaranteed a tax exemption in the Californian Constitution. USV is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. Programs at Cogswell range from digital media to engineering, with an emphasis on digital animation, audio and music production, and video game design.
Move is the tenth studio album by Christian rock band Third Day. Released on October 19, 2010, the album was the band's first after guitarist Brad Avery left Third Day. The band wanted the album to be a departure from the modern rock stylings of Revelation (2008), intending to show more of their southern rock roots. Third Day chose to work with producer Paul Moak on the album and recorded it at their own studio, feeling it offered them more creative freedom. Primarily a southern rock album, Move also has significant influence from gospel music.
