Blackfoot is an American Southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1970. Though they primarily play with a Southern rock style, they are also known as a hard rock act. The band's classic lineup consisted of guitarist and vocalist Rickey Medlocke, guitarist Charlie Hargrett, bassist Greg T. Walker, and drummer Jackson Spires.

On to Victory is the ninth studio album recorded by the English rock band Humble Pie and the first with a new lineup including vocalist and guitarist Steve Marriott, drummer Jerry Shirley, vocalist and guitarist Bobby Tench from The Jeff Beck Group, and American bassist Anthony "Sooty" Jones. They recorded "Fool for a Pretty Face", which Marriott had written earlier and the song proved good enough for them to secure a recording contract with Atco in 1980. In UK their material was released by Jet Records, owned by the former Small Faces manager Don Arden. The album peaked #60 on the Billboard 200 album chart "Fool for a Pretty Face" was released as a single and reached #58 on the US singles charts and a promotional tour followed as part of The Rock'n Roll Marathon, supporting Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Angel & Mother's Finest.

The album was released by Polydor in 1980. The line up for Darkness Darkness included Bobby Tench (Streetwalkers), Brian Robertson, Henry McCullough (Wings) and Mick Weaver (Traffic). Hummingbird were a British rock band, formed in 1974 by Bobby Tench of The Jeff Beck Group. The band recorded three albums which were released by A&M Records in the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Europe and employed Ian Samwell as their producer. The original line-up included members of the second Jeff Beck Group, vocalist and guitarist Bobby Tench, keyboardist Max Middleton, bassist Clive Chaman, drummer Conrad Isidore and second guitarist Bernie Holland. At the start of sessions for their first album they were joined by Jeff Beck for a brief period but he did not contribute to the album and left to work on his own project. After the first album Bernie Holland was replaced by guitarist Robert Ahwai and drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie replaced Isidore on the next two albums, vocalists Madeline Bell and Liza Strike were brought in to complement the band. The contemporaneous music magazine entitled Gramophone commented that "the members of Hummingbird are the cream of British session musicians, more acclimatised than most to playing rock at all intellectual levels".
Eddie Hardin was an English rock pianist and singer-songwriter. Born Edward Harding, he was best known for his associations with the Spencer Davis Group, Axis Point, and Hardin & York. Hardin, along with the drummer, Pete York, left the Spencer Davis Group on 26 October 1968, due to 'differences over musical policy'.
