Aymane El Haddaoui is a Moroccan paralympic athlete who won the bronze medal in the men's 100 metres T47 event at the 2024 Summer Paralympics. He had also won a gold medal in the men's 400 metres T47 event at the 2024 Summer Paralympics. He has also created a world record in men's 400 metres T47 by running at 46.65 seconds. [1] [2] [3]
El Haddaoui began his athletic journey at the age of 18 in Morocco. Seeking to advance his career and education, he moved to the United States, enrolling at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico. There, he balanced academics with rigorous training, competing in various collegiate track and field events. His personal bests during this period include a 400m time of 45.59 seconds, achieved on May 20, 2023, in Hobbs. [5]

El Haddaoui's success can be attributed to his dedication and the guidance of his coaching team, which includes Terry Van Laningham, Jeff Becker, and Henry Tabarie. He maintains a rigorous training schedule, practicing five days a week for three to four hours each day. [6]
