Aymen Kamal Assou (born 27 March 2000) [1] is a French footballer who plays as a midfielder, most recently for Al-Fujairah.
Born in Badajoz, Province of Badajoz in Spain from Moroccan parents. He quickly moved to Cavaillon which is situated in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southeastern France.
He is the son of former player Kamal Hassin Assou [2] who played for both COD Meknes [1] from 1994 to 1996 and for the Club Deportivo Badajoz between 1996 and 1998.
Assou began his footballing career in Cavaillon with the local club: the ARC Cavaillon. He played with the youth categories until 2014 when he moved to the Olympique Avignonnais for one year until 2015.
During that time, recruiters from many professional clubs in Europe were scouting him. This includes clubs such as Olympique Lyonnais, Manchester City and Real Madrid. The latter even offered Assou to participate on football camps on a regular basis.
On January 15th 2020, he signed in the United Arab Emirates for Al-Fujairah.

Marcel Desailly is a French former professional footballer, widely considered to be among the greatest centre-backs and defensive midfielders to ever play football. During a successful career at club level, lasting from 1986 to 2006, Desailly won several titles, including UEFA Champions League medals with both Marseille and AC Milan, and also played for Nantes and Chelsea, among other teams.
