Ayomide Emmanuel Bello (born 4 April 2002) is a Nigerian canoeist. She competed in the women's C-1 200 metres event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She also represented Nigeria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
In 2018, she won two gold medals at the African Youth Games. [1] In that same year, she represented Nigeria at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and competed in four events: the girls' C1 sprint, girls' C1 slalom, girls' K1 sprint and girls' K1 slalom. She did not win a medal in these events.
She competed at the 2019 African Games and won the gold medals in the C-1 200 metres and C-1 500 metres events. [2] She also won the gold medals in the C-2 200 metres and C-2 500 metres events. [2] As a result the country finished second in the canoeing medal table at the 2019 African Games and she also qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the C-1 200 metres. [3] [1]
Fabien Lefèvre is a French slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 1998. As a permanent resident of the United States, he has competed for his country of residence since 2013. He represented France until 2011. He won two medals at the Summer Olympics in the K1 event with a silver in 2008 and a bronze in 2004. He has a son called Noe Lefèvre.
Nicolas Peschier is a French slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2016. In the early part of his career he was specializing on the C1 class. He also competed in the C2 class from 2011 to 2015 together with Pierre Labarelle.
Jana Dukátová is a former Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2021. She specialized in the K1 event for most of her career, although she was also one of the pioneers of the women's C1 discipline, becoming the first ever world champion. She stopped competing in C1 after 2010.
Karolina Elżbieta Naja is a Polish sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a bronze medal in Women's K-4 500 metres, and silver medal in Women's K-2 500 metres.
Jessica Esther Fox is a French-born Australian Olympic and world champion slalom canoeist.
Ana Sátila Vieira Vargas is a Brazilian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2011.
Canoeing at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was contested in two main disciplines: canoe slalom, to take place from 25 to 30 July 2021, and canoe sprint, from 2 to 7 August. The slalom competitions will be held at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Course; whereas the sprint events will be staged at Sea Forest Waterway.
Jiří Prskavec is a Czech slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2008, specializing in the K1 discipline. In 2023 he also started competing in C1. He also occasionally appears in kayak cross. With an Olympic gold and a bronze, 2 individual world titles and 5 individual European titles, he is one of the most successful K1 paddlers of his generation.
Mallory Franklin is a British slalom canoeist who has competed internationally since 2009. She competes in both Kayak and Canadian Canoe classes, as well as the Kayak cross discipline.

Oluwatobiloba Ayomide "Tobi" Amusan is a Nigerian track and field athlete who specialises in the 100 metres hurdles and also competes as a sprinter. Amusan is the current world record holder in the 100 metres hurdles with a time of 12.12 seconds which she set at the 2022 women's 100 metres hurdles semi final in Eugene Oregon. She is the current Commonwealth and African champion in the 100 m hurdles, as well as the meet record holder in those two competitions. Amusan became the first ever Nigerian world champion and world record holder in an athletics event when she won the 2022 World Championships 100 m hurdles gold medal, setting the current world record of 12.12 seconds (+0.9 m/s) in the semi-final, followed up by a 12.06 seconds (+2.5 m/s) in the final. She won back-to-back Commonwealth and African titles in 2018 and 2022 in the 100 m hurdles and is also a two-time African Games champion in the event. She is also the current Diamond league champion in the 100 metres hurdles having won the final in 12.33 seconds (+1.8 m/s) achieving a winning streak in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Kimberley Woods is a British slalom canoeist who has competed in C1, K1 and KX1 at the international level since 2011. A six time world and eight time European champion, she won the bronze medal in both the K1 event and the first ever women's kayak-cross (KX1) event in Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Canoeing competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, are scheduled to be held at the Rio Canete located in the city of Lunahuaná (slalom) and Albufera Medio Mundo in the city of Huacho (sprint).
Nigeria competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco. In total, 308 athletes represented Nigeria at the games. Athletes representing Nigeria won 46 gold medals, 33 silver medals and 48 bronze medals and the country finished 2nd in the medal table.

Mònica Dòria Vilarrubla is an Andorran slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2014. Mònica was the flagbearer for Andorra at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2024 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Olympics, the finished 16th in the K1 event and 11th in the C1 event after being eliminated in the semifinals of both.
Marjorie Delassus is a French slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2016. She is from Pau in Béarn.
Eliška Mintálová is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2016.
Klaudia Zwolińska is a Polish slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2013. She won the silver medal in the K1 event in Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
