The 12129 / 12130 Azad Hind Express is a Daily Superfast Express train operated by the Central Railway zone of Indian Railways connecting Pune with Howrah. ^[1] Introduced in 1996, this train service is a tribute to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, being named after the Azad Hind Fauj which was led by him. ^[2]

Timings

As per official time table, this train covers 2,014 km (1,251 mi) in 33 hours 25 minutes averaging at 60 km/h (37 mph).

• 12129 leaves Pune at 18:35 IST and arrives Howrah at 03:55 IST on the third day. ^[3]
• 12130 leaves Howrah at 21:40 IST and arrives Pune at 07:05 IST on the third day. ^[4]

However the actual arrival and departure times may be different as it regularly gets delayed between 4 hours to 7 hours or more. Also, it often gets rescheduled. ^[5] So passengers are advised to check arrival and departure times before boarding.
