Bjarne Slot Christiansen (mostly known as B. S. Christiansen) (born September 27, 1952) is a former professional soldier from the Danish special force army unit Jægerkorpset, who is currently working with coaching and team building. His many television appearances and a popular book called Et liv på kanten (A Life on the Edge) have made him a celebrity in his home country. [1] [2]

B.S. Christiansen is one of the few Danes who have completed the American Ranger course, he completed with his buddy Carsten Mørch who was "Distinguished Honor Graduate" Ranger School class '78. [1]

Ranger School United States Army leadership training course

The United States Army Ranger School is a 61-day combat leadership course oriented toward small-unit tactics. It is open to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines in the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as select allied military students.

Among his most well known clients used to be the professional road bicycle racing team, Team Saxo Bank, for whom he organized a non-traditional training camp every year. Rather than focusing on bicycle racing, the camp focuses on team building. [3]

Road racing is the most popular professional form of bicycle racing, in terms of numbers of competitors, events and spectators. The two most common competition formats are mass start events, where riders start simultaneously and race to set finish point; and time trials, where individual riders or teams race a course alone against the clock. Stage races or "tours" take multiple days, and consist of several mass-start or time-trial stages ridden consecutively.

Bjarne Lykkegård Riis, nicknamed The Eagle from Herning, is a Danish former professional road bicycle racer who placed first in the 1996 Tour de France. For many years he was the owner and later manager of Russian UCI WorldTeam Tinkoff–Saxo. Other career highlights include placing first in the Amstel Gold Race in 1997, multiple Danish National Championships, and stage wins in the Giro d'Italia. On 25 May 2007, he admitted that he placed first in the Tour de France using banned substances, and he was no longer considered the winner by the Tour's organizers. In July 2008, the Tour reconfirmed his victory but with an asterisk label to indicate his doping offences.

Robert Julich, popularly called Bobby Julich, is an American former professional road bicycle racer who last rode for Team CSC in the UCI ProTour racing series. He got his international breakthrough when he finished 3rd overall in the 1998 Tour de France, becoming only the second American to finish on the podium. Frank Høj is a retired Danish professional road bicycle racer. Høj started as a stagiaire for the Zetelhallen team in 1994, and became professional in 1995 for Collstrop–Lystex. His first win as a professional came the year after. In a live interview with Danish media station TV2 during the coverage of Tour de France 2015, Høj admitted to have used EPO in the early periods of his career, namely 1995-1998.

Carl Vilhelm "Skoma'r" Hansson, simply known as Carl "Skoma'r" Hansen, was a Danish football (soccer) player and manager. He played in the forward position, and won the Danish championship with Boldklubben 1903 before moving abroad to play for Scottish club Rangers F.C. as the first professional player in Danish football history. With Rangers, he won four Scottish championships. Hansen played seven games and scored three goals for the Denmark national football team, and was a part of the Denmark team at the 1920 Summer Olympics. As a manager, he managed a number of Danish teams and won the Danish championship with AB.
