BH Radio 1 is a Bosnian national public mainstream radio channel operated by Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT). The program is broadcast on a daily basis 24 hours with equal use one of the three official languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian). This radio station broadcasts a variety of programs such as news, music, talk shows, radio-drama, sports, mosaic and children's programs.
BH Radio 1 is one of three organizational units in BHRT (together with BHT 1 - national public television service and music production.

BHRT selected Regina to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at Eurovision, and they performed the song "Bistra voda" at the contest.
Federalna televizija is a public mainstream TV channel operated by RTVFBiH. The program is broadcast on a daily basis, 24 hours from RTVFBiH headquarters located in Sarajevo. The radio and television program is mainly produced in Bosnian. Television program initially aired on two television channels. Since April 2003 the television program is reduced to one. According to the most recent measurements viewership of television channels in 2012, FTV is most watched television station in Bosnia and Herzegovina with 14.4% share. This television channel broadcasts a variety of programs such as news, talk shows, documentaries, sports, movies, mosaic, children's programs, etc. FTV also broadcasts teletext services.
Bosnia and Herzegovina selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 through an internal selection process. A public call for songs was held by the Bosnian national broadcaster Radiotelevizija Bosne i Hercegovine (BHRT), and Vukašin Brajić was selected by the broadcaster to represent the country with the song "Munja i grom". The song was premiered in a special programme to be broadcast on BHT 1 on 14 March 2010. It has since been confirmed that Brajić will perform the English version of the song, "Thunder and Lightning", at the Contest in May.

Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Ljubav je" written by Almir Ajanović and Jasmin Fazlić Jala. The song was performed by Dalal and Deen featuring Ana Rucner and Jala. Dalal and Deen are Bosnian singers, the former known as a member of the duo Erato and the latter having represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, while Ana Rucner is a Croatian cellist and Jala is a Bosnian rapper. In November 2015, the Bosnian broadcaster Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) announced that they would be returning to the Eurovision Song Contest after a three-year absence after securing sponsorship to cover both the participation fee and all costs related to the participation. In the same month, the broadcaster revealed that they had internally selected Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen, Ana Rucner and Jasmin Fazlić Jala to compete at the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Their song, "Ljubav je", was presented to the public during a show entitled BH Eurosong Show 2016 on 19 February 2016.
The Hum Tower is a 78.5 m (258 ft) tall telecommunication tower located on Mount Hum in the periphery of Sarajevo. The original tower was finished in the 1960s, rebuilt in the 1980s. During the Bosnian war, on 2 May 1992 it was partly destroyed by the JNA and VRS.
