Bağbanlar (Baghbanlar, known as Arxangelovka until 1991) [1] is a village and municipality in the Bilasuvar District of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 3,739.
Bilasuvar District is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the south-east of the country, in the Shirvan-Salyan Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Imishli, Saatly, Sabirabad, Salyan, Neftchala, Jalilabad, and Ardabil Province of Iran. Its capital and largest city is Bilasuvar. As of 2020, the district had a population of 105,100.
Bilasuvar is a city in and the capital of the Bilasuvar District of Azerbaijan. The area's considerable agricultural potential depends on irrigation. It is situated near one of the country's four border crossings with Iran.
