Baby Shakes is an American rock band from New York City. They define their music as rock 'n' roll, power pop, punk, and glam rock.
Baby Shakes were founded 2005 in New York City by Mary Blount, Judy Lindsay and Claudia Gonzalez. They first performed as a group in February 2005. They have toured the U.S., U.K., Europe (September 2007, November 2009, September 2015, July 2016, October 2016, Fall 2017), China (July 2016) and Japan (February 2009, February 2016, March 2017). Baby Shakes released their second full-length album, Starry Eyes, in August 2015 and released their third full-length album, Turn It Up, in May 2017.
Their current and permanent drummer (since 2015) is Ryan McHale (New York), and their former drummer was Dave Rahn from Atlanta (Gentleman Jesse & His Men, Carbons) who also played the drums on all Baby Shakes recordings prior to 2016. Their drummer during their February 2009 Japanese tour was Travis Ramin (Nikki Corvette, Fevers) and Shingo Nishimaru was their drummer during their 2009 European tour.

Baby Shakes are a rock n' roll-punk band from New York City. Mary on lead vocals and guitar, Judy on lead guitar and vocals, Claudia on bass and vocals, and Ryan on drums. With catchy melodic vocals over dirty guitars and a killer rhythm section, their influences range from The Ramones and Slade to Chuck Berry and 60's Motown girl groups. Formed in 2005, they've released 5 singles, a 10" heart-shaped EP, a singles collection, and 3 full-length albums. They have toured the US, Japan, China, Ireland, UK and Europe. Baby Shakes have shared the stage with The Romantics, The Boys, Iggy Pop, Shadows of Knight, The Undertones (with the band's Damian O'Neill issuing some of their songs via his Dimple Discs label), [2] [3] Barracudas, Protex, Guitar Wolf, Black Lips, Paul Collin's Beat, among others.

Mark Deming of AllMusic in his review of The First One referred to the group as "three good-looking gals who can write great pop tunes with a dash of punk rock energy and girl group harmonies to boot" he goes on to call their songs "as refreshing as a tall glass of lemonade on a hot day". Deming does lament that "the production by Dave Rahn...could use a bit more body" but goes on to conclude "the music's good enough that you can play the album two or three times in a row without it wearing out its welcome". MxPx is an American punk rock band from Bremerton, Washington, formed in 1992 as Magnified Plaid. As of 2016, current members include Mike Herrera, Yuri Ruley, Tom Wisniewski, and Chris Adkins. The band's discography includes twelve studio albums, four EPs, four compilation albums, a live album, a VHS tape, a DVD and 20 singles. Shonen Knife is a Japanese pop-punk band formed in Osaka in 1981. Influenced by 1960s girl groups, pop bands, the Beach Boys, and early punk rock bands such as the Ramones, the band crafts stripped-down songs with simple yet unconventional lyrics sung both in Japanese and English.
The Donnas were an American rock band formed in Palo Alto, California, in 1993. The band consisted of Brett Anderson, Allison Robertson, Maya Ford and Torry Castellano. Amy Cesari replaced Castellano, who left the band in 2009 due to tendonitis. They drew inspiration from the Ramones, the Runaways, Girlschool, AC/DC, Bachman–Turner Overdrive and Kiss. Rolling Stone has stated that "the Donnas offer a guileless take on adolescent alienation; they traffic in kicks, not catharsis, fun rather than rage". MTV has stated that the band offers "a good old-fashioned rock & roll party".
Flipper is an American punk rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1979, continuing in often erratic fashion until the mid-1990s, then reuniting in 2005. The band influenced a number of grunge, punk rock and noise rock bands. Their slowed-down, bass-driven and heavily distorted style of punk is considered to have inspired bands such as the Melvins and Nirvana, whose bass player Krist Novoselic played with the band in the 2000s.
GBH are an English punk rock band which was formed in 1978 by vocalist Colin Abrahall, guitarist Colin "Jock" Blyth, bassist Sean McCarthy and drummer Andy "Wilf" Williams.

He joined the band following the departure of his older brother, Vincent, in 1976, and remained with the band until their break up in 1983. O'Neill wrote several album tracks and singles during the career of The Undertones, usually writing with bassist Michael Bradley.

The Work were an English post-punk rock group, founded in 1980 by multi-instrumentalist/composer Tim Hodgkinson and guitarist/composer Bill Gilonis, with bass guitarist Mick Hobbs and drummer Rick Wilson. The band toured Europe in 1981 and 1982, and recorded their first album, Slow Crimes in 1982. After a tour of Japan later that year and releasing Live in Japan, the band split up. In 1989, the Work reformed to record Rubber Cage and performed throughout Europe between 1989 and 1994, releasing another album, See in 1992. A live album, The 4th World, recorded in Germany in 1994, was released in 2010.
Live, Love, Larf & Loaf is a studio album by the English/American experimental rock quartet French Frith Kaiser Thompson. It was the group's first album and was recorded at Mobius Music in San Francisco in March 1987. The album was released in 1987 in the United States by Rhino Records on LP, CD and cassette. The CD release contained two extra tracks. The album was reissued in 2008 by Fledg'ling Records with five extra tracks recorded live at the Ashkenaz in Berkeley, California.

Boye were a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Novi Sad in 1981. Until the late 1980s, Boye were an all-female band, but later lineups also featured male members, with drummer Biljana Babić being the only mainstay member during the band's career. Initially a part of the Yugoslav new wave scene, Boye later moved towards garage rock-influenced alternative rock. The band released four studio albums before disbanding in 2000.
