Bacha Pathak was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Bansdih in the 1969, 1974, 1977, 1980, 1991, 1993 and 1996 election as a member of the Indian National Congress. In 1997, he was forming member of Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress along with Jagdambika Pal, Naresh Agrawal, Rajeev Shukla and Shyam Sunder Sharma and Hari Shankar Tiwari. Bacha Pathak remained Cabinet minister thrice in Uttar Pradesh Government and on various senior positions in the organisation and discharged his duty with responsibility and dedication. He was the Vice President of Indian National Congress Uttar Pradesh unit. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Hari Shankar Tiwari was an Indian politician belonging to the Samajwadi Party from Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Tiwari was a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the village Tanda, Chillupar in Gorakhpur district.

Chaudhary Yashpal Singh was an Indian politician and Member of Parliament of India. He was a member of the 8th Lok Sabha and has also been a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly several times. Singh represented the Saharanpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Yashpal Singh was National Vice President of the Samajwadi Party political party. However, he represented the Indian National Congress during the 8th Lok Sabha.

Ram Govind Chaudhary is one of the prominent socialist leaders of India who has served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2017 to 2022. He was in charge of Basic Education and Child Nutrition and Development Ministries in previous Samajwadi Party Government of Uttar Pradesh led by Akhilesh Yadav. He is Member of Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh from the Bansdih assembly seat, Ballia.

Satya Prakash Malviya was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 1984 and 1990 from Uttar Pradesh. He served as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Petroleum and Chemicals in Chandra Shekhar cabinet from 1990 to 1991.

Ashutosh Tandon, also known as Gopal Tandon, was an Indian politician and was Minister of Urban Development, Overall Urban Development, Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Tandon was also a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Lucknow East constituency in Lucknow district. He was son of BJP's senior leader and former Governor of Madhya Pradesh Lal Ji Tandon.

Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress was a regional political party in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in October 1997 by Naresh Agarwal along with Jagdambika Pal, Atul Kumar Singh, Bacha Pathak, Rajeev Shukla, Hari Shankar Tiwari, Suresh Chand Bhardwaj, Shripati Singh and Shyam Sunder Sharma. The party was formed when these leaders broke away from the Indian National Congress to join the All India Indira Congress (Tiwari), led by N. D. Tiwari which led another switched to form Loktantrik Congress.

Elections to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held in phases, in February and May 1985, to elect members of the 425 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Indian National Congress won a majority of seats as well as the popular vote, and Narayan Datt Tiwari was re-appointed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
