Baijinath is a village and business center in Sanphebagar Municipality of Achham District in Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. It was formerly a separate Village Development Committee (VDC) before being merged into Sanphebagar Municipality.
Baijinath is located in the hilly region of western Nepal within Sanphebagar Municipality. The area lies on the bank of the Budhi Ganga River.
According to the 2001 Nepal census, Baijinath had a population of 1,345 persons living in individual households. [1] The 1991 census recorded a population of 1,160.
The village was established as a Village Development Committee during the previous local governance system. Following the 2014 local government restructuring, it was incorporated into the newly formed Sanphebagar Municipality along with other former VDCs in the area.
Baijinath serves as a local business center for the surrounding area. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture and trade.
The village is located approximately 25 km north of the district headquarters, Mangalsen. Sanphebagar Airport is located nearby and resumed flight operations in 2018 after being out of service for 13 years.
