The Bairwa is an OBC caste in Delhi and a Scheduled Caste [1] [2] [3] of India's Affirmative Action. [4] [5] [6] Berwa means the peoples who live without enmity.
The Bairwa community live in the Hadauti, in Rajasthan. [7] Bairwa community also live in Haryana , UP, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
Today, Bairwa Community has strong presence in Politics of Rajasthan, Agriculture and Business.
Historically, the Bairwas are believed to have originated from the Meena community, one of the earliest tribal groups in Rajasthan. Over time, a section of Meenas gradually formed a distinct group, adopting new social and occupational roles. Many became farmers and agricultural laborers, establishing themselves as a hardworking and self-reliant community.
