Baku Tech! Bakugan is a series in the Bakugan franchise separate from the Bakugan Battle Brawlers series featuring a new cast of characters and a new plot. Each episode is five and a half minutes long, and airs within the show Ohacoro Up on Saturdays at 8:45am on TV Tokyo. The first season was released in 2012, followed by Baku Tech! Bakugan Gachi in 2013, which aired within the show Ohacoro Pop on Saturdays, at 9:00 AM on TV Tokyo.

Bakugan: Gundalian Invaders, known in Japan Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, is the third season of Japanese anime television series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. It has 39 episodes in length total, and is produced by TMS Entertainment and Maxpire Entertainment, which replaced Japan Vistec, which is in charge in animation in the last two seasons. The season premiered in Canada on May 23, 2010, and in the United States on May 29, 2010. This season ended on January 29, 2011 and is followed by a fourth season. Zoobles! is a miniature figure toyline created by Spin Master. The toyline is a spin-off of the Bakugan toyline, meant to appeal to the female demographic. Zoobles! were released in August 2010 in the United States, consisting of a wide variety of sphere shaped animal creatures that could close into a ball and when placed on a magnetic stand called "Happitat", would open up into a unique figure. The success of the franchise resulted in the worldwide release of the Spin Master toyline, including Japan, where it is licensed by the Japanese toy division of Sega and has spun one Japanese-Korean animated series and a Nintendo DS game. The toyline was very short-lived, discontinuing in 2012 and went on a hiatus until 2021.

Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge is the fourth and final season of the Japanese anime television series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. The series originally had 26 episodes ordered, however Nelvana announced that this seASON would be extended to 46 episodes total in length, with production by TMS Entertainment and Maxpire Entertainment. Unlike the other seasons, Mechtanium Surge is split into two separate stories. The series premiered in Canada on February 13, 2011, United States on March 5, 2011 and Australia on March 8, 2011 on Cartoon Network.

Baku Tech! Bakugan is a manga series written and illustrated by Shingo. In Japan, the comics have been published in Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro comics since September 2010. The manga follows the adventures of Harubaru Hinode and his childhood friend and rival, Raichi Kuronashi, as they battle with their BakuTech, which are superior to normal Bakugan due to special metal parts.
