Balkongen was an avant-garde theatre in Oslo established in 1927 and disestablished in 1928. Its founder and artistic director was Agnes Mowinckel. [1] [2] [3]

Lillehammer is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Lillehammer. Some of the more notable villages in the municipality include Fåberg, Hunderfossen, Jørstadmoen, Vingnes, and Vingrom.

Akershus is a traditional region, former and future county, and current electoral district in Norway, with Oslo as its main city and traditional capital. It is named after the Akershus Fortress in Oslo. From the middle ages to 1919, Akershus was a fief and main county that included most of Eastern Norway, and from the 17th century until 2020, Akershus also had a more narrow meaning as a (sub) county that included most of the Greater Oslo Region. After 2020 the former county of Akershus was merged into Viken along with the former counties of Østfold and Buskerud. In 2022 the Storting voted to dissolve Viken and reestablish Akershus county.
Skien is a municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Grenland, although historically it belonged to Grenmar/Skiensfjorden, while Grenland referred the Norsjø area and Bø. Knut Helle was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works.

Oslo District Court is a district court located in Oslo, Norway. This court is based at the Oslo Courthouse in the city of Oslo. The court serves the entire city of Oslo and the court is subordinate to the Borgarting Court of Appeal. As the largest district court in Norway, it handles about 20% of all cases in the country. The court handled 3,000 criminal and 2,200 civil cases, as well as 7,200 summary proceedings in 2007.
Bogstadvannet is a lake between the city of Oslo and the municipality of Bærum, Akershus, Norway. It is part of Sørkedalsvassdraget, which in turn is part of Oslomarkvassdraget.

The Man on the Balcony is a 1993 Swedish-German crime thriller film, based on the 1967 book The Man on the Balcony written by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö. This is the fourth film which stars Gösta Ekman as Martin Beck and Rolf Lassgård as Gunvald Larsson.
Tore Foss was a Norwegian singer, actor and theatre director. He made his stage début at Chat Noir in 1927. He played at Balkongen from 1927 to 1928, and later worked for the National Theatre, Det Nye Teater, Centralteatret and Folketeatret. He participated in several films. Before his acting career, Foss had military training and became a reserve officer in the Norwegian Army. He married the actress Gunvor Hall in 1934.
Ole Giæver, is a Saami film director, screenwriter and actor from Norway. He was educated at the Nordland Art and Film College in Lofoten and Konstfack in Stockholm. His debut feature film was The Mountain, released 2011. His second feature was Out of Nature in which he also played the leading role, for which he was awarded The Kanon Award for Best Actor in 2015. His third feature From the Balcony is set to be released in 2017.
Ingrid "Linge" Langård, was a Norwegian actress, singer, and fair organizer. She was the owner of the Lillemannequin modeling agency, and she held fashion shows around Norway for several years. She organized several "housewife fairs".
