Banca Akros is an Italian investment bank based in Milan, Italy. It is a subsidiary of the Italian Banco BPM bank.
Banca Akros was founded by Gianmario Roveraro in Milan in 1997. [2]
In 1998, Banca Akros became part of Banca Popolare di Milano. After the 2017 merger of Banco Popolare di Milano with Banco Popolare, Banca Akros became part of the Banco BPM group. [3]
Banca Intesa S.p.A. was an Italian banking group. It was formed in 1998. In the next year the banking group merged with another bank Banca Commerciale Italiana to become IntesaBCi. However, the name of the group was reverted to Banca Intesa in 2003. Banca Popolare di Milano S.c. a r.l., an urban area cooperative bank, was founded in 1865, however, due to the merger and the foundation of Banco BPM, the original branches of BPM as well as some businesses were injected to another legal person and BPM's subsidiary Banca Popolare di Mantova, which was renamed to Banca Popolare di Milano S.p.A. on 1 January 2017.
