The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the 7th FIFA Futsal World Cup, an international futsal tournament that took place from 1–18 November 2012 in Thailand. An extra four teams were competing at this World Cup. This was the first men's FIFA tournament held in the country, having hosted the 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship. This was also the first men's FIFA tournament in Southeast Asia since the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship, held in Malaysia.

The 2016 AFC Futsal Club Championship was the 7th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, the annual Asian futsal club championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand between July 17 and July 23, 2016.

2015 AFF Futsal Club Championship is the first edition of AFF Futsal Club Championship. The tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 23 to 29 November. The Futsal clubs from AFF member countries will be invited to compete in the tournament.
