Barazi-Epsilon is a racing team owned by engineer Michel Lecomte and entrepreneur turned amateur racer Juan Barazi. The team's base is in Le Mans. The team was founded in 2000 as Epsilon Sport from the remains of the Graff Racing's Formula Three operations. [1]

History

They have competed in many series, including the Le Mans Series, French Formula Three Championship, British Formula 3 Championship and the Superleague Formula. Highlights for the team include winning the World Series by Nissan Light Class in 2001 and the LMP2 class in the 2006 Le Mans Series season.

In 2008 and 2009, the team competed in the Le Mans Series championship with drivers Fernando Rees, Michael Vergers and Juan Barazi. They have also been regulars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

In 2009 they ran the Olympique Lyonnais car in Superleague Formula. [2] In 2010 they are running the cars of GD Bordeaux and Galatasaray S.K.

Barazi-Epsilon FR2.0-10

The Barazi-Epsilon FR2.0-10 is the spec Formula Renault 2.0 car since 2010, it replaced the Tatuus FR2000 which was raced since 2000. The car is used in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC. A Renault Sport tuned Renault F4R powers the car.

Beta Epsilon Formula Premium

The Formula Premium is a junior formula racecar designed for racing schools and junior racing classes. The car was designed in 2012 for the 2013 Formula Premium series. The car features a 1,6L Renault engine, also seen in the Formula Renault 1.6.

Advanced Engine Research, Ltd. is an auto racing engine manufacturer based in Basildon, Essex, England. Established in 1997, AER has developed winning engines for a number of high-profile international race series in sports car, prototype racing, rallying, touring car, and open wheel racing. They have designed engines derived from road car platforms, but their emphasis is on clean sheet designed engines with a focus on electronics and turbochargers. Their engines have raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the World Endurance Championship (WEC), the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), the United SportsCar Championship (TUSC), GP3, British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), Nissan/Renault World Series, Grand-Am, Paris Dakar and FIA Sportscar Championship. They have worked with a number of manufacturers including Mazda, Ford, Hyundai, MG/Rover, Nissan, and Toyota. In 2012, AER developed and built Formula One turbo test engines to current rules and in July 2012, AER was chosen as engine partner and supplier to the new GP3 racing series. They currently supply engines for the Indy Lights series.

The 2008 Formula 3 Euro Series season was the sixth championship year of Europe's premier Formula Three series. The season was dominated by 21-year-old German Nico Hülkenberg, who won seven of the season's ten feature races amassing 76 of his total of 85 championship points on Saturday afternoons. He won the championship by 35.5 points from early frontrunner Edoardo Mortara as the 2007's rookie cup winner's season somewhat tailed off after the Norisring, scoring just 9.5 points in the final twelve races compared to Hülkenberg's 60. Jules Bianchi's strong finish to the season, including a win in the final race at Hockenheim and coupled with Renger van der Zande's fifth place and Mika Mäki's ninth place, it allowed the 2008 Ultimate Masters winner to finish third in the championship, a point ahead of both van der Zande and Mäki.

The 2009 Superleague Formula season was the second Superleague Formula championship. The series was rebranded the "Superleague Formula by Sonangol" for this season and also 2010 with the Angolan oil company becoming the title sponsor. It began on June 28 at Magny-Cours and finished on November 8 at Jarama.

The series was rebranded "Superleague Formula by Sonangol", due to a two-year deal that began in the previous season. The first race of the season was on 4 April at Silverstone and it finished on 24 October at Navarra after a series record of 12 race weekends in all.

The 2010 Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup was the fifth Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup season. The season began at Hockenheim on 17 April and finished on 17 October at Nürburgring, after nineteen races. Making its début in the series in 2010 was the new-specification car, designed by Barazi-Epsilon. It replaced the Tatuus chassis that had been in the series since 2000, but the Tatuus cars were still used in the secondary Formula Renault 2000 Class.

V de V Series is a motor racing organisation that owns and runs a group of international motor racing championships. Based in Paris, the majority of events are held in France although the series regularly visits Spain and Portugal and has also visited Belgium, Germany and Italy. The organisation takes its name from founder Eric van de Vyver. His family is involved in most aspects of running the series and they have their own racing team within the series.

The V de V Challenge Monoplace is a single-seater racing series active in Europe. The series was founded in 2010 set up by V de V Sports.
