History

Barr's Hill School was founded in 1908 as a girls' grammar school in Coventry. Over the years, it transitioned into a mixed comprehensive school. In 2015, Barr's Hill School became part of The Futures Trust, a multi-academy trust, which has supported the school in maintaining high academic standards and delivering strong outcomes for its students.

School Structure

Barr's Hill School serves students aged 11 to 18 through its "Seven Year Journey" framework, a model designed to ensure holistic development for each student.

• The Bridge: Year 7 students benefit from a bespoke program focusing on their academic and personal development, including subjects like Latin and Classics.

• Post-16 Select: The school's sixth form is recognized for its high academic standards and successful placements at leading universities and competitive apprenticeships, including placements in "High-Tariff" institutions, including Russell Group and Oxbridge.
