Barrhaven East Ward or Ward 24 (French: Quartier Barrhaven-Est) is a municipal ward in Ottawa, Ontario. It consists of the eastern half of the city's Barrhaven subdivision. The ward came into effect at the 2022 Ottawa municipal election. [1] It will be represented on Ottawa City Council by Wilson Lo.
The ward consists of the neighbourhoods of Knollsbrook, Longfields, Davidson Heights, Havenlea, Chapman Mills and Heart's Desire. [2]
The ward was created in the 2020 ward boundary review from parts of Barrhaven Ward and Gloucester-South Nepean Ward. [3]

Located in the city's west end, the ward is bordered to the east by the Rideau River and Fisher Avenue, the northern boundaries of the community of Barrhaven to the south, Ontario Highway 416 and Cedarview Road to the west and to the north by the Canadian National railway west of Merivale Road and Baseline Road to its east. It includes the communities of portions or all of Arlington Woods, Craig Henry, Tanglewood, Manordale, Crestview, Skyview, Parkwood Hills, Merivale Gardens, Grenfell Glen, Pineglen and Country Place.
Riverside South-Findlay Creek Ward or Ward 22 is a city ward located in Ottawa, Ontario. Situated in the south end of the city, the ward includes the communities of Riverside South and Findlay Creek in the former city of Gloucester.

The O-Train is a light metro transit system in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, operated by OC Transpo. The O-Train system has two lines, the electrically-operated Confederation Line and the diesel-operated Trillium Line. Since May 2020, Stage 2 construction has temporarily shut down Line 2, with replacement bus service being offered at all stations. When Line 2 reopens in late 2023, it will extend southward to Limebank station and incorporate five newly constructed stations, as well as an additional line linking Line 2 to Ottawa International Airport which will replace the current bus service from route 97. By 2026, expansions along Line 1 and the construction of Line 3 stations in the west end are expected to be complete, bringing the system's length to 64.5 km (40.1 mi), four lines and 41 stations. The O-Train network is fully grade separated and does not have any level crossings with roads.
