Barry John Keane (born 1 May 1990) is an Irish Gaelic footballer with Kerry GAA and has played with them at minor Under 21 and senior level. He is the grandson of the famous former Kerry player John Dowling. He plays with the Kerins O'Rahilly's club in Tralee. Barry John made his Championship debut for Kerry against Tipperary in 2010 at Semple Stadium. Barry John retired from senior inter-county football in 2018.

Séamus Moynihan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer from Shronedarraugh, a townland halfway between Barraduff and Glenflesk, County Kerry. Paudie Sheehy (1932–1967) was an Irish amateur sportsperson and business executive. He played Gaelic football with John Mitchels and the Kerry county team from 1953 to 1962. He captained Kerry on two occasions. He was also a senior executive with the state-owned Irish Sugar and its affiliates, Erin Foods and Heinz-Erin Foods.
John Dowling (1930–1998) was an Irish sportsperson. He played Gaelic football for his local Kerins O'Rahilly's club and at senior level for the Kerry county team between 1954 and 1961. Dowling captained Kerry to the All-Ireland SFC title in 1955. He won Munster and All-Ireland Junior Medals with Kerry in 1949. He also won a Munster Minor Championship medal in 1948.
