Basketligaen Most Valuable Player

The Basketligaen Most Valuable Player is an annual basketball award that is given by the Danish top tier Basketligaen. It is awarded to the player who was considered to be the best in a given regular season.

Basketligaen

The Basketligaen is the highest professional basketball league in Denmark. The original men's first division was founded in 1957 and the current league was founded in 1998. All-time record holder in league titles is Bakken Bears, which has captured 18 titles in its history. BMS is the only team with 5 titles in a row, starting in 1986 through 1990. The main TV partner of the league is Sport Live. The league consists of 10 teams, with no relegation rules.

Ryan Evans is an American professional basketball player for Bakken Bears of Denmark's Basketligaen. Standing at 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) and weighing 218 lb (99 kg), Evans usually plays at small forward. He played college basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers.

The 2015–16 Basketligaen was the 41st season of the highest professional basketball tier in Denmark. The season started on October 3, 2015 and ended on May 9, 2016. Horsens IC won the Danish championship for the second year in a row, after it defeated Bakken Bears in the Finals.

Chanan Colman

Chanan Safir Colman is a Danish-Israeli professional basketball player for Hapoel Haifa of the Israel Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Chipola before playing professionally in Finland, Israel, Denmark. Colman was named the Finnish League Finals MVP in 2006 and the Danish League MVP in 2012.

The 2018–19 Basketligaen was the 44th season of the highest professional basketball tier in Denmark. The season started on 25 September 2018 and ended on 13 May 2019. Bakken Bears defended its title. Ryan Evans of the Bears was named the season's Most Valuable Player.
