Bastien Midol (born August 3, 1990) is a French freestyle skier. He has won 4 FIS World Cups and won a silver medal at the 2013 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships. [2] His brother is also a medallist skier, Jonathan Midol.
Midol won the 2019 Ski Cross Crystal Globe, and came 2nd in the Overall Freestyle Rankings.
Thomas Alsgaard is a Norwegian former professional cross-country skier. Alsgaard is regarded by many as the best performer of the freestyle technique (skating) in cross-country skiing and many of today's best skiers have studied his technique. In total, Alsgaard won 15 medals in the Winter Olympics and FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, making him one of the most successful skiers of all time.

What sets ski cross apart from other alpine skiing disciplines is that it involves more than one skier racing down the course. Any intentional contact with other competitors like grabbing or any other forms of contact meant to give the competitor an advantage leads to disqualification.

Yevgeny Alexandrovich Dementyev is a Russian cross-country skier. He attended Children and Youth Sports School of Sovetsky District, Khanty–Mansi Autonomous Okrug, where his first trainer was Valery Ukhov. Dementyev's first international success was in 2001 at the Junior World Championship. He won two medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, with a gold in the men's 15 km + 15 km pursuit event and a silver in the men's 50 km freestyle mass start.
Kikkan Randall is an American Olympic champion cross-country skier. She has won 17 U.S. National titles, made 29 podiums on the World Cup, made five trips to the Winter Olympic Games and had the highest finish by an individual American woman at the World Championships, second in the Sprint in Liberec in 2009. She was the first American female cross-country skier to take a top ten finish in World Cup competition, to win a World Cup race and to win a World Cup discipline title. She won the silver medal in the individual sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, becoming the first American woman to win a medal in cross country skiing at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, and in 2013 teamed up with Jessie Diggins to win the first ever American FIS Nordic World Ski Championships gold medal in the team sprint. She and Diggins won the United States' first ever cross-country skiing gold medal at the Winter Olympics in women's team sprint at Pyeongchang in 2018.
Tamara Ivanovna Tikhonova is a Soviet-Russian former cross-country skier who competed from 1984 to 1992. She represented the Soviet Union at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, where she won three medals with golds in the 20 km freestyle and the 4 × 5 km relay, and a silver in the 5 km classical.
Vasily Pavlovich Rochev is a former Soviet/Russian cross-country skier who competed in the 1970s and early 1980s, training at Dynamo in Syktyvkar. He won two medals for the Soviet Union at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York, with a gold in the 4 × 10 km relay and a silver in the 30 km.

Nikita Valeryevich Kryukov is a Russian former cross-country skier who competed internationally between 2006 and 2018. He was a sprint specialist who won an Olympic gold medal, three World Championship gold medals, six World cup gold medals, all in the sprint events. He was arguably the fastest skier ever when it came to double-poling on the flat in sprints. He generally favoured classic skiing and classic sprints over freestyle, but as he showed in winning the team sprint in the 2013 World Championship, in Val di Fiemme, he was also very strong in the freestyle sprint.

Jonathan Midol is a French freestyle skier and Olympic medalist. He was born in Annecy. He competed in ski cross at the World Ski Championships 2013, and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where he earned a bronze medal in ski-cross. His brother is also a medallist skier, Bastien Midol.
Hanna Andreyeuna Huskova is a Belarusian freestyle skier specializing in aerials. She competed at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2015, where she qualified for the aerials final, and placed sixth in the final. At the 2014 Olympics, she placed 21st in aerials. She won a gold medal at the 2018 Olympics, and won silver at the 2022 Olympics, in Women's aerials.
The men's ski cross competition in freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics will be held on 18 February, at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou. Ryan Regez of Switzerland won the event, and his compatriot Alex Fiva won the silver medal, the first Olympic medals for both of them. Sergey Ridzik, representing the Russian Olympic Committee, won the bronze medal, replicating his 2018 success.
Benjamin "Ben" Ogden is an American cross-country skier. He has been a member of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team since 2019. Ogden made history in 2018 at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships in Goms, Switzerland, when he and his teammates secured a silver medal in the junior men's relay, which was the first ever medal for the U.S. men at a World Juniors Championship event.
