Battery is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller directed by Mani Bharathi and starring Senguttuvan, Ammu Abhirami and Deepak Shetty. Based on the subject of medical corruption, it was released across Tamil Nadu on 29 July 2022. [1] [2]

Cast

Production

The film began production in 2019, with filmmaker Mani Bharathi - a former journalist. [3] Senguttuvan, who also produced the film, was cast in the lead role, alongside Ammu Abhirami. A song for the film was shot in Kullu Manali. [4]

Actor Soori attended the audio release of the film after Mani Bharathi's friend, director N. Linguswamy, requested that the actor appear at the event as the chief guest. [5] [6]

Reception

The film was released on 29 July 2022. A critic from Dina Malar concluded that the film was "low on charge", criticising the script. [7] A reviewer from Dina Thanthi gave the film a middling review. [8]

The Fourteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 13 April 2011 to elect members from 234 constituencies in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Results were released on 13 May 2011. Two major parties Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) faced the election as coalitions of multiple political parties: DMK front consisted of 8 parties and the AIADMK of 11 parties. Goli Soda Rising is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language action drama television series created by Vijay Milton and B. Jeyamohan. The series is a sequel and prequel to Milton's Goli Soda (2014) and Goli Soda 2 (2018) respectively. Kishore DS, Murugesh, Pandi, and Seetha reprised their roles from the first film. Other cast members include Udayaraj, Swetha, Cheran, Shaam, Pugazh, Sujatha Sivakumar, Abhirami Gopikumar, Remya Nambeesan, Ammu Abhirami, Madhusudhan Rao, John Vijay, Imman Annachi, and Bharath Seeni.
