Coral Sea Islands

The Coral Sea Islands Territory is an external territory of Australia which comprises a group of small and mostly uninhabited tropical islands and reefs in the Coral Sea, northeast of Queensland, Australia. The only inhabited island is Willis Island. The territory covers 780,000 km2 (301,160 sq mi), most of which is ocean, extending east and south from the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef and includes Heralds Beacon Island, Osprey Reef, the Willis Group and fifteen other reef/island groups. Gambier Islands archipelago in French Polynesia

The Gambier Islands are an archipelago in French Polynesia, located at the southeast terminus of the Tuamotu archipelago. They cover an area of 30 km2 or 12 sq mi, and are the remnants of a caldera along with islets on the surrounding fringing reef. They are generally considered a separate island group from Tuamotu both because their culture and language (Mangarevan) are much more closely related to those of the Marquesas Islands, and because, while the Tuamotus comprise several chains of coral atolls, the Gambiers are of volcanic origin with central high islands. Boundary Islet

Boundary Islet, historically known as North East Islet, is a two ha (4.9-acre) islet in the Hogan Island Group of Bass Strait, at a latitude of 39°12′ S, about 56 km (35 mi) east of the southernmost point of mainland Victoria. The islet straddles the border of the Australian states of Victoria and Tasmania.

Japanese minelayer <i>Hatsutaka</i>

Hatsutaka was the lead vessel in the Hatsutaka-class of medium-sized minelayers of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which was in service during World War II. She was designed as an improved version of Shirataka anti-submarine netlayer. However, during the Pacific War, due to the critical shortage of escort patrol ships, she was fitted with depth charge racks, her minelaying rails were removed, and she was used primarily for convoy escort duties.

Bayas Island

Bayas Island is a small island and barangay in northeastern Iloilo, Philippines. It is part of the municipality of Estancia. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 2,316. The Island was titled to Filomena Reyes Aclaro and is now shared to the locals.

Manipulon is a barangay in northeastern Iloilo, Philippines under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Estancia. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 425 among 91 households. The barangay is part of the Bayas Islets and has jurisdiction over three of the islets four islands: Manipulon, Magosipal, and Pangalan.
