Beach water polo at the 2010 Asian Beach Games was held from 8 December to 12 December 2010 in Muscat, Oman. [1] Kazakhstan won the gold medal in a round robin competition, Kuwait finished 2nd and Saudi Arabia finished 3rd and won the bronze medal over Syria and Indonesia.

Kevin Vincent Muscat is an Australian former association football player and he is the currently head coach of Chinese Super League club Shanghai Port. As a player, he played as a defender, and represented the Australia national team at international level winning 46 caps and scoring 10 goals between 1994 and 2006.

Xue Chen is a Chinese beach volleyball player, measuring 191 centimetres in height. A 4-time Olympian, she won the bronze medal alongside Zhang Xi at the women's beach volleyball tournament of the 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2013, she won the gold medal also with Zhang at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, the first and only Asian team to do so.
