Beacon is an American electronic music group from Brooklyn.
Beacon was founded in 2011 by Thomas Mullarney and Jacob Gossett, both of whom were students at the Pratt Institute at the time. They began by self-releasing their first singles through the Bandcamp platform. [1] Later that year, Moodgadget issued the group's first EP, No Body, leading to tours with Gold Panda, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Tycho. In 2012 the group signed with Ghostly International, who released their debut full-length in 2013. [2] A sophomore full-length arrived on the same label in early 2016. [3]
In 2020, Apple Inc. used the band's song "Show Me How" while launching a new MacBook Pro model at the company's November keynote event. [4]

Paul Michael Slayton, better known by his stage name Paul Wall, is an American rapper and DJ. He began his career performing alongside fellow Houstonian Chamillionaire, with whom he released several albums, including 2002's independently released Get Ya Mind Correct. In 2005, he was signed to Atlantic Records and became successful with his major label debut The Peoples Champ, which was followed up by Get Money, Stay True followed in 2007. He has been nominated for one Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance as a Duo or Group for the song "Grillz", his collaboration with rapper Nelly.

They are known for their humour during their live performances, while their name is a homage to the absurdist movement of the early twentieth century. Moodgadget is an independent electronic music label with the mission of exposing the diversity in electronically made music. Founded in 2004 in Ann Arbor, Michigan by Jakub Alexander and Adam E. Hunt, the label began as an effort to popularize the founders' opinion that electronic music is a process, not a genre; within its walls live a diverse range of sounds, which would be documented over the course of the label's development.

Icon for Hire is an American rock band from Decatur, Illinois. Formed in 2007, the band's current lineup consists of singer Ariel Bloomer and lead guitarist Shawn Jump. They released two EPs independently before signing to Tooth & Nail Records, through which they released their first two albums: Scripted in 2011 and Icon for Hire on October 15, 2013. Their third album, You Can't Kill Us, was independently released on November 25, 2016. Their fourth album, Amorphous, was released on February 19, 2021, also independently. Their fifth independent studio album, The Reckoning, was released on September 30, 2022.

Later on in the game's history, Gareth Coker, Lena Raine, Kumi Tanioka and Samuel Åberg contributed with several albums and EPs. Savoir Adore is a pop-rock group duo from Brooklyn, New York City, United States initially consisting of Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro. In 2014, Deidre Muro left the band while Hammer worked with a guest vocalist. Hammer began collaborating with Lauren Zettler shortly after, and she became a permanent member. As of June 2020 the band has released five albums, several EPs, numerous singles and a number of remixes albums. They also have done an international tour.

His music has a diverse sound, influenced by jazz, his fellow Ghostly artists, and other sources. His melodic, beat oriented songs are a unique blend of instrumental hip hop and electronic music. He briefly attended School of Jazz at The New School in New York City but dropped out in 2003.
Rüfüs Du Sol, stylised as RÜFÜS DU SOL and formerly known as simply Rüfüs from 2010 to 2018, is an Australian alternative dance group from Sydney, that consists of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt. Their debut album Atlas peaked at number one in Australia, while their second album Bloom debuted atop the Australian albums chart in early 2016. Their single "You Were Right" won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release in 2015. While still known as Rüfüs elsewhere, they performed as Rüfüs Du Sol in the United States because Rufus was already taken. In 2018 they changed their name to Rüfüs Du Sol internationally.
Zain Javadd Malik, known mononymously as Zayn, is a Pakistani English pop and R&B singer. Zayn auditioned as a solo contestant for the British music competition television series The X Factor in 2010. After being eliminated, he was brought back to the competition to form the five-piece boy band One Direction, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. He left the group in March 2015 and signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records.
