Beautiful Bodies developed as a band while the members resided in different countries. Becker, Harvard-educated human rights lawyer, was living in Bolivia, suing the former president for massacring protestors. [1] Solombrino and Arana were based out of the United States, where they had previously played in bands together. Becker began demoing music with Solombrino, sending tracks back and forth via email, when one of the songs they recorded, "You're a Risk," was picked up by alternative rock station KRBZ and spread to other regional college and alternative stations, garnering label attention for the band. [2] In response to the widespread label interest, industry magazine HITS Daily Double referred to Beautiful Bodies as "one [of] the biggest unsigned stories of the moment." [3]
In 2013, Beautiful Bodies won Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands for Warped Tour, beating out 32,000 artists in the world's largest battle of the bands. [4] In May 2014, after talks with indie and major labels, the band signed a record deal with Epitaph Records and toured with Emarosa and Pvris later that year. [5] They went into the studio with John Feldmann (Blink 182, The Used, 311, Five Seconds of Summer), and their debut album Battles was released on June 16, 2015. [6] Their first single, “Capture and Release” received radio play on U.S. and European stations, including on radio giants KROQ and BBC Radio. In 2016, Kerrang! Magazine, the world's largest weekly rock magazine, nominated Beautiful Bodies for their Best New International Newcomer Award. [7]
Known for their energetic live shows, the band toured extensively in North America and Europe, sharing the stage with alternative and punk bands, including The Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance, Jane's Addiction, and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The band was known to cross genres, however, playing with artists such as Dave Chappelle, Eminem, and Bebe Rexha. Beautiful Bodies were repeat artists on several festivals, including Warped Tour (U.S. and Europe) and SXSW, [8] and the band's music has been featured in television commercials such as NFL advertisements [9] and live events such as the World Series and New York Fashion Week. The band announced they were to disband in 2017 via Solombrino's facebook account. Their last show was in Madrid, Spain with Mayday Parade. [11] Solombrino has continued to make music under the name Alicia Solo, self-releasing her first EP Solo in 2017. Becker returned to law and in 2018 won the first human rights lawsuit in U.S. history against a living ex-president. [12] He currently teaches at Harvard Law School, though he took a leave in spring 2019 to climb Mount Everest, which he successfully summited despite it being one of the mountain's deadliest years. [13] Stout is working as a record producer. Arana continues to play music in Kansas City, including his work as the bassist in post-punk band New Obsessions. [14]
New Found Glory is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik, Ian Grushka, Chad Gilbert, and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Longtime rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein left the band in late 2013. During their lengthy recording career, the band have released ten studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and four cover albums.
Smash is the third studio album by American rock band the Offspring, released on April 8, 1994, by Epitaph Records. After touring in support of their previous album Ignition (1992), the band recorded their next album over two months at Track Record in North Hollywood, California. Smash was the band's final studio album to be produced by Thom Wilson, who had worked with them since their 1989 eponymous debut. This also marks the first album where Dexter Holland is credited with playing the guitar as opposed to vocals only.

Story of the Year is an American rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1995 under the name 67 North. The band eventually changed their name to Big Blue Monkey in 1998, and then subsequently changed it again to Story of the Year in 2002, after the release of their self-titled EP on the indie label Criterion Records. At the time, they claimed they discovered that a blues group named Big Blue Monkey had already existed. Later, on their podcast "Page Avenue Crew", they clarified that they just didn't care for the name and made up the excuse of another band having the same name.

Produced by Blink-182 singer-bassist Mark Hoppus and recorded at his home based-OPRA Studios, the album was seen as a return to the band's energetic roots in comparison to its predecessor; the mellow Coming Home (2006). The gap between releases marked the longest period between studio albums in the band's career thus far, while the title is taken from the lyrics in opening track, "Right Where We Left Off".

The band's final lineup consisted of lead vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, guitarist Jeff Sahyoun, bassist Ryan Jay Johnson and drummer Loniel Robinson. Butler was the band's only constant member. The band has released four full-length albums and one EP, with their final album If I'm the Devil being released on June 10, 2016. The band was last signed to Epitaph Records.

Radiosurgery is the seventh studio album by American rock band New Found Glory. It was first released on October 3, 2011, in Europe, before its US release on October 4 through independent label Epitaph Records. It is the band's final studio album to feature founding guitarist Steve Klein. To follow up predecessor Not Without a Fight (2009), the band began writing new material during their stint on the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. After self-producing a set of demos and contacting long-term record producer Neal Avron, the band went on to record the album in Avron's home recording studio over a period of three months in 2011. The quintet set out to write an album that paid homage to classic punk rock records that first inspired them to form a band during the 1990s. Listening extensively to the likes of early Green Day and Ramones, New Found Glory strove to create a sound that could "bridge the gap" between old and new generations of the genre.
The Blackest Beautiful is the third studio album by American rock band Letlive. It was released by Epitaph Records on July 9, 2013. Recorded between June 2012 and January 2013, the album used four drum sessions, and went through ten recording engineers before settling on Stephen George. The drums were recorded with session musician Christopher Crandall, in the absence of the band having a permanent drummer at the time. The album incorporated a variety of music styles based on its members, including punk rock, funk, and soul; it was mastered and mixed to have a "more human" and "organic" sound.
Kill It Live is the first live album by American rock band New Found Glory. It was recorded during two sold-out shows at the Chain Reaction music venue in Anaheim, California between March 27—28, 2013. It was first released on October 7, 2013 in the United Kingdom, before its wider release in other regions soon after. It was issued through imprint label Violently Happy Records, a partnership between independent label Bridge Nine Records and the band's guitarist Chad Gilbert.

SWMRS, pronounced 'swimmers', are an American punk rock band formed in Piedmont, California in 2004 by Cole Becker and Joey Armstrong, with Becker's brother Max Becker joining only a few weeks afterwards. They drew on a mix of influences ranging from the Beach Boys to the Ramones to create their own brand of rock. The band added Travis Neumann in 2009, who later left in 2014 due to creative differences. The band released a demo and a string of EPs from 2008 to 2010. The band released their first album, Don't Be a Dick, on June 14, 2011. The band's second album, Lost at Seventeen, was released on June 11, 2013. They added Sebastian Mueller as the bassist in 2014. The band's third studio album, and their first under the name SWMRS after dropping their former name, Drive North, was released February 12, 2016, via Uncool Records. Drive North was later re-released after the band was signed to record label Fueled by Ramen on October 13, 2016.
Ho99o9 is an American punk rap group founded in 2012 in Newark, New Jersey by theOGM and Yeti Bones. They relocated to Los Angeles in 2014. They attracted a cult following on account of their live performance and began collaborating with Ian Longwell who plays drums and produces for Santigold. In 2016, former Black Flag member Brandon Pertzborn became the band's drummer but left in 2023 after joining The Offspring as their new drummer.
Too Close to Touch are an American rock band from Lexington, Kentucky, formed in 2013. Both their debut EP, Too Close to Touch, and their debut full-length, Nerve Endings, were released through Epitaph.
