... Because I Can is the first (and only) studio album by Mice, and released through the Permanent Records label. Although a second album, New And Improved , was released, this was not a new album but rather an extended re-issue, released through the Jamtart label. The album peaked at 93 on the Official Albums Chart. [2]
Two versions of this album exist - a standard one disc version and a special edition two disc version, the second disc containing four songs from a BBC Radio 1 session.[ citation needed ]

Chris True from AllMusic said it was "a solid record, with solid songwriting, catchy hooks, and plenty of humor and emotion ... the opener, 'Mat's Prozac' is a biting, sly, and cynical look at emotional assistance through pharmaceutical means, and 'Miss World' is an atmospheric song that would have stood out as a gem in the Eves' catalog". Lulu Kennedy-Cairns is a Scottish singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. Her career has spanned six decades. Her debut single, a cover version of The Isley Brothers song "Shout", reached the top ten of the UK singles chart in 1964. In 1967, she rose to international prominence after appearing in the film To Sir, with Love, singing the theme song, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks.
All About Eve were an English rock band. The initial creative core consisted of Coventry-born Julianne Regan (vocals), Huddersfield-born Tim Bricheno (guitar) and Andy Cousin, with other members changing over the years. Their highest-charting UK single was "Martha's Harbour" (1988). The band was active from 1984 to 1993, then 1999 to 2004, achieving four UK Top-50 albums. The band had been recognised for their "unique, folk-rock-influenced take" on the gothic rock style, and Regan has been described as "certainly one of the more talented singers" of the scene in the late 1980s.
The Monty Python Instant Record Collection is the title of two compilation albums by the Monty Python troupe. The first was released in the UK and Canada in 1977 and drew from the group's first three studio albums, first live album, and first soundtrack album on the Charisma label, while the second was released in the US in 1981 and comprised tracks from their four albums released on the Arista label. Billed as "the pick of the best of some recently repeated Python hits again, Vol. II", the record sleeve was designed by Terry Gilliam. The UK/Canadian version originally featured packaging that folded out into a cardboard box resembling a large stack of record albums. An inner sleeve featured a spoof "Where Are They Now?" update on the members of the Python team.
JulianneRegan is an English/Irish singer, songwriter, and musician. She achieved success in the late 1980s and early 1990s having formed the band All About Eve. Her major role in the band was as lead singer and songwriter. AllMusic describes Regan as "certainly one of the more talented singers of the late eighties British goth rock scene".
Dear Sir is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, also known as Cat Power, released in October 1995 on Runt Records. Recorded in New York City in December 1994 during studio sessions with Tim Foljahn and Steve Shelley, the album displays Marshall's sparse guitar playing and early lo-fi influence. The album had originally been conceived as an EP, and features covers of songs by Tom Waits and This Kind of Punishment.

Scarlet and Other Stories is the second studio album by All About Eve. It was held to be considerably darker both in tone and lyrics than their first album, All About Eve. The relationship between lead singer Julianne Regan and guitarist Tim Bricheno broke down during the album's recording and production, and Regan later said that she hadn't wept as much in her life as she had during the making of this album.
Keepsakes - A Collection is an anthology by All About Eve released on 13 March 2006. It is available either as a double CD or as a limited edition double CD and DVD set.
New And Improved is a compilation album by Mice that was released on All About Eve's label JamTart in 2001. It contains all of Mice's one and only album ... Because I Can, as well as three of the B-sides and five Mice and/or Julianne Regan demos from the same period (1995-1997). It was released by Julianne Regan post the All About Eve 1999 reformation, due to the renewed interest in Mice that this had caused.
Cinemasonic is a live album by All About Eve. It was released both as a CD and as a DVD and is a recording of the band's gig on 31 May 2002 at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.

"Running with Scissors" reuses the music Wayne Hussey composed for Atsushi Sakurai's 2004 song "Sacrifice".

This Burning Effigy were an Irish gothic rock/ethereal wave band, originally formed in Dublin in 1993, and consisting of members Stephen Carey, Ger Egan (vocals), Micheal Cowley (bass), Brian Fallon (drums). They recorded one album with this line-up, before becoming a two-piece and subsequently recorded two more albums, before splitting in 2001.

Before You Go Tonight also known as Take Your Time is a Lynsey de Paul album recorded in 1976 for Jet Records, but shelved out of spite by then manager Don Arden, and not released until 1990. Then it appeared as a CD release in Japan on Century Records, and again on the Vivid Sound under licence from Trojan Records. The album was originally called Singer-Songwriter and was finally released on de Paul's music store as Take Your Time, albeit with a slightly different track listing. All of the songs were written by de Paul, except the amusing "You've Either Got It or You Ain't", which was co-written with David Jordan. The album was produced by de Paul. The track "If I Don't Get You The Next One Will" was released as a single in 1976 and this version is included. "My One and Only" is de Paul's version of a song recorded and released in 1975 by her label mates at the time, the British female vocal trio Bones.
"Martian Man" is a song written by Lynsey de Paul that was destined to be a track on her 1976 album Before You Go Tonight, but was shelved as part of a legal dispute with former manager Don Arden.
It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: Original Soundtrack Recording is a soundtrack album by American jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi released on October 12, 2018 in the U.S. by Craft Recordings. A reissue containing original recordings and alternate takes sourced from the master reels was released on August 26, 2022.
