Beijing Normal University, colloquially known as 北师大 or Beishida, is a public research university located in Beijing, China, with a strong emphasis on basic disciplines of the humanities and sciences. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China, and was recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education as a Class A Double First Class University.

In recent years, there are about 40 graduates every year admitted to Peking University and Tsinghua University. This number accounts for nearly one-fifth of graduates each year. The overall college admission result ranks in the third place in Xicheng School District.

Pakistan Embassy College Beijing is a Pakistan International School located on the Embassy of Pakistan compound in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Founded in 1969, it serves students ages 4–19, in Kindergarten through senior school. The school was opened in 1969 originally named as Pakistan School Beijing. It is the first international school that was opened in Beijing. It moved to a building with 14 classrooms in 1970 and gained secondary levels in 1975. It moved to its current site within the embassy compound in December 1980. As of June 2017 the school has about 500 students, with 50% being non-Pakistanis originating from 56 countries.
