Bella Sara is a life-simulation puzzle video game released for Nintendo DS and Microsoft Windows in North America and the PAL region in October 2008. The game is based on the trading card and website for girls Bella Sara. It will immerse the player in a world filled with fantasy horses, with the ability to ride, care for, accessorize and trade those horses with friends over Wi-Fi. In addition, players will be able to discover secret items, exclusive cards and codes to activate on the official website.
Jack DeVries of IGN gave Bella Sara a score of 6.5/10, saying that the game is good for enthusiasts of the card trading game but more likely to get everyone else playing it "bored in a week". [1]
Pokémon Trading Card Game is a video game adaptation of the Pokémon tabletop card game for the Game Boy Color. Developed by Hudson Soft and Creatures, and published by Nintendo, it was initially released in Japan in 1998, and in the West in 2000. Gyarados is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Created by Ken Sugimori, Gyarados first appeared in the video games Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue and subsequent sequels, later appearing in various merchandise, spinoff titles and animated and printed adaptations of the franchise. Gyarados was voiced by Unshō Ishizuka in both Japanese and English media until Ishizuka died from esophageal cancer. Known as the Atrocious Pokémon, Gyarados is the evolved form of Magikarp, well-known for its fierce temper and reputation for causing nothing but destruction so much so that once it has worked itself into a frenzy, it will not calm down until everything around it has been destroyed.
Digimon World DS, known in Japan as Digimon Story, is a role-playing video game for the Nintendo DS developed by BEC and published by Bandai Namco Games. Players have the option of playing one of twelve Shrek characters, using racing and combat skills to defeat other racers. It was released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Game Boy Advance systems. Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing was the final game based on a DreamWorks Animation film to be released on the GameCube.
Bella Sara was a children's trading card and online game that combined a world of magical horses with game play. Published by Seattle-based game company Hidden City Entertainment in 2007, Bella Sara began as a trading card game that expanded into an international product line. Having three set releases each year, all trading cards had images of illustrated horses, characters and magical friends with positive, inspirational messages on them. Each card pack included secret codes that could be redeemed on the website to care for and nurture magical horses online. Select Bella Sara products included these secret codes to expand the magical world. Players could upload cards to redeem tokens that were used to buy merchandise from the online Bazaar.

In America, the game was going to be called Chameleon: To Dye For!, however the name was changed to just Chameleon. The game had an Arcade release on the Sega NAOMI GD-ROM platform with the title Kuru Kuru Chameleon on March 9, 2006. In 2019, a Nintendo Switch port was released as a digital download by UFO Interactive Games in America and Tommo in Europe. Starfish SD released a PlayStation 4 port as a digital download in 2020 exclusively in Japan. Also in 2020, a Windows port was released for Steam. This game offers players simple controls and competitive play in the attempt to match colours on the playfield. The game features several playable characters along with a bonus character. Each character has her own special power, which can be used to hinder the opponent. Wireless play is also available.
Astro Boy: The Video Game is an action platform video game based on the 2009 CGI-animated film of the same name. The game was released in Japan on October 8, 2009 for the PlayStation Portable under the name Atom to coincide with the Japanese theatrical release on October 10, 2009. It was later released on the same system as a downloadable game in North America on October 14, 2009. It received a retail version of it and a port to the PlayStation 2, Wii and Nintendo DS which were released on October 20, 2009 to coincide with the North American theatrical release of the film on October 23, 2009. It features the voices of Freddie Highmore and Kristen Bell, reprising their film roles.

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion is a 2011 crossover fighting video game developed by Papaya Studio and published by Crave Games, for the Nintendo 3DS. It features characters from various Cartoon Network programs battling against one another. The game was released in June 2011 in North America and in April 2012 in Europe. An upgraded port, Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL, was released for the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 less than a year later.

Many DCCGs are types of digital tabletop games and follow traditional card game-style rules, while some DCCGs use alternatives for cards and gameboards, such as icons, dice and avatars. Originally, DCCGs started out as replications of a CCG's physical counterpart, but many DCCGs have foregone a physical version and exclusively release as a video game, such as with Hearthstone.
