Belvidere is a Southern plantation with a historic cottage located in Natchez, Mississippi, USA.
The cottage was built circa 1837, shortly after Samuel and Robert Patterson acquired the land. [3] In 1847, it was acquired by John Coulson, a merchant. [3] When Coulson purchased the Cliffs Plantation from John W. Henderson in 1868, Henderson in turn purchased Belvidere. [3]
The house was moved northwards in 1927, when the Margaret Martin Junior High School was built where it once stood. [3]
By 1980, it still belonged to the Henderson family. [3]
The cottage was designed in the Greek Revival architectural style. [2] It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since April 8, 1980. [2]

The Charles Pinckney National Historic Site is a unit of the United States National Park Service, preserving a portion of Charles Pinckney's Snee Farm plantation and country retreat. The site is located at 1254 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Pinckney (1757-1824) was a member of a prominent political family in South Carolina. He fought in the American Revolutionary War, was held for a period as prisoner in the North, and returned to the state in 1783. Pinckney, a Founding Father of the United States, served as a delegate to the constitutional convention where he contributed to drafting the United States Constitution.

The Magnolia Mound Plantation House is a French Creole house constructed in 1791 near the Mississippi River in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Many period documents refer to the plantation as Mount Magnolia. The house and several original outbuildings on the grounds of Magnolia Mound Plantation are examples of the vernacular architectural influences of early settlers from France and the West Indies. The complex is owned by the city of Baton Rouge and maintained by its Recreation Commission (BREC). It is located approximately one mile south of downtown.
Tanglewood is a historic plantation house in Akron, Alabama. The Greek Revival cottage was built in 1859 by Page Harris, on land that he had purchased in 1824. It was given to the University of Alabama as a memorial to Nicholene Bishop in 1949 and the grounds are now used as a 480-acre (190 ha) nature reserve known as the J. Nicholene Bishop Biological Station. It is used by the university to aid undergraduate and graduate research in biodiversity and environmental processes. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1973, due to its architectural significance.

Palo Alto Plantation is an historic mansion located at the corner of LA-1 and LA-944, along Bayou Lafourche in Donaldsonville in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. It was built in c.1847 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 13, 1977. The architecture is an Anglo-Creole type Louisiana plantation cottage decorated in Greek Revival style.
Riverdale is a historic plantation house near Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. Architectural historians consider it to be the "most elegant and refined house of its period in Dallas County." The two-story wood-frame house was built in the Federal-style in 1829. It is five bays wide, with a two-tiered, pedimented portico spanning the central bay. It was built by Virgil H. Gardner, a native of Jones County, Georgia, for his bride, Margaret Loise Aylett of Virginia. Their daughter, Mary Gardner, was married in the house in 1854 to Henry Quitman, son of former Mississippi governor John A. Quitman.

It was built about 1810 for slaveholder George Merrick, and is a 1½-story, three bay, gambrel-roofed dwelling with Georgian, Federal, and Greek Revival style design elements. It is sheathed in weatherboard and has exterior end chimneys and a shed-roofed front porch.
Belvidere, also known as the Exum Newby House and Lamb House, is a historic plantation house located at Belvidere, Perquimans County, North Carolina. It was built about 1767, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, five bay, frame dwelling with an unusual hip on gambrel roof. The Georgian style dwelling is sheathed in weatherboard and rests on a brick pier foundation. In the mid-1970s, Belvidere was sold to radio personality Wolfman Jack.
